Service by Dolphin in the Italian restaurant. I did not like that children were allowed in the pool bar

Clean and quiet and the staff in out of the world... love love this place

Was awesome.. Nices people. Clean Top service The best

All is very good good good i like everything was fine only that there is not much fun at night and more for children should have more games

The hotel was totally family friendly. The children loved the kids splash & water slide pools. The main cafeteria was always well staffed and the food was properly displayed & prepared. The servers go above and beyond to accommodate all the guests. They totally deserve to be tipped for all their hard work! The bartenders also work as hard and they are always ready to prepare non-alcoholic fruity drinks for all the little ones! Make sure to tip them also because they only make 200 Mexican pesos per day as their base pay! Do the math - around $5 dollars. The hotel has an open stage area where they do their best to have live entertainment every night. The one thing that I was incredibly disappointed about was the size of the ocean view double bed rooms. It was listed as double beds and a separate sofa (sofa bed) sitting area. The room, restroom, hall, and sitting area ended up being smaller (combined) than my bedroom alone at home. Too bad that in the hotel pictures, they made it appear way more spacious. It made it kinda hard to fit a typical family of two adults & two kids. The cleaning staff was awesome! Do yourself a favor and get a rental car because you are going to need it! This hotel is basically located away from all the main tourist towns and pretty much where you run out of road & commercially developed coastline. The beach is satisfactory considering all the trouble the coast has faced with the seaweed. Luckily the hotel cleaned it up with tractors daily.

We loved everything. We were worried about the food but we thought the food was great 😊

I loved the multiple (4) pools and the unique slides. The on sight restaurants were of great quality.

Loved the atmosphere that the staff provided. Was not pleased that the pool was not open at night. Also, at check-in, not all ameneties were properly introduced. Overall, good experience through.

I love this place !!!! everyone was wonderful !!! I felt special because it was my birthday..

I liked that it was well maintained, spacious, not overcrowded. The drinks at the bar were only so so.

Hotel nice and clean, Reception/ management needs to be flexible with complimentary late check out. We got there in the first day in the evening due to airline arrival time and our departure on the way back was also in the evening. Hotel reception was making a big deal about late check out and wanted to charge more $ for late check out. Food quality can also be improved. Overall good hotel, a bit far from a lot of attractions since it is located north of Cancun in an area currently under major development. There are not a lot of activities outside of the hotel, unless you drive for few hours south of Cancun. If you are into golf, there is a gold course nearby. Beaches are great, white sands, but not a great area for snorkeling.

Such a great experience! Tons to do, water slides were fun, hotel staff super friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed at quite a few Riu’s in Cancun, this was by far our favorite so far!

Further out from the hotel zone, a good 30 minute drive, but I liked the hotel. The food was pretty good, I ate at the steakhouse & the buffet. Nice pool areas, beach is in walking distance. I booked a snorkeling day trip with the hotel, which was $70 per person. I loved it. The boat picked us up from the beach, we went snorkeling, we stopped at Playa Norte, we went into town, the boat staff gave us beer & wine, and then they dropped us off at the beach again. I loved it. I would return.

The hotel was nice but some of the things that really bothered me are as follows: *no room service *liquor was very cheap and there was very little variety *i was not impressed with the food. It was very basic *not sure why but I had diarrhea for half of my stay. *the rooms were newer but basic *one great thing was that all of the staff seemed nice and the WiFi connection was great.
