Highlights: Chic show, butler service, staff, restaurants, grill at the pool, bartenders, overall property, pools.
Staff was really fantastic; they did everything in their power to make our honeymoon incredible special. My wife and I loved our experience at TRS Yucatan.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic and there were so many options to choose from. The staff was so focused on details and making us feel at home. We were so pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back soon.
My wife found bed bugs in the bed and suffered from multiple bites on her legs and arms. The sheets and bed covers were musty and smelled like mold - when I reached out to the butler to change them they still smelled bad the following nights. The amenities, service and restaurants were all amazing but inside of the hotel room was not good I have never fund bed bugs in any hotels I have ever stayed in
It was my first resort experience. I enjoyed it a lot, but would probably do more activities next time. Leak in bathroom the first night. Stuff didn't feel "luxurious," if that's what you're expecting, but it was a beautiful location. Don't fall for the timeshare talk. They won't call it that, and you'll be sitting there 2 hours later wondering "is this a time share pitch? because I could have saved them 2 hours." Staff is amazing and kind, and patient.
This hotel was listed on Orbitz to have VIP access benefits and my Orbitz Platinum VIP access status granted me $1500 in hotel CREDITs. We chose this hotel based on the fact that we could use the $1500 on SPA services. While checking-in at the hotel, they handed us a coupon book with $1500 worth of coupons such as $20 off of SPA services. It definitely felt like we were scammed by both Orbitz and the TRS hotel. The hotel listing on the Orbitz website did not have any fine prints and they did not refer to it as $1500 worth of coupons. It clearly said $1500 in hotel credit.
The resort was beautiful and the food was good at most of the restaurants. Room service food wasn’t the greatest but it came in a timely manner. The best drinks were at the main lobby bar. The resort lacked night time entertainment. I found myself bored looking for things to do after 11pm. I’d say it’s perfect for older relaxed crowds. The beach was pretty far and not very big. The sitting area was shaded with cabanas for lounging. Sargassum was washed ashore which made it not very pretty for picture taking. The pools were very nice and always had a nice amount of ppl relaxing. When we arrived the driver who took us on the cart to our rooms didn’t secure my luggage properly so it went flying onto the ground and got really scratched up. It was my carry on so it never got banged up and was in great condition prior to this. The day before we left I went on a tour at another resort and they reimbursed me my airport travel fees. They gave me 3000 pesos. When I got back to the resort I switched bags and left the pesos in that bag sitting on the dresser in front of the tv. We left and went to the pool for about 2 hours. When we returned I checked my bag and was missing 700 pesos. Someone had been in our room for turndown service but idk who took my pesos. I reported this to security and they took down my information and told me a investigation will be conducted. I most likely won’t hear anything back. Housekeeping didn’t leave any clean face towels or remove old plates of food.
TRS is a BEAUTIFUL resort and the staff is so friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived they treated us like family. The food options were great! My room was absolutely gorgeous and kept clean daily. The bulter Selene was perfection! She met our every need before we could think about it. I will definitely go back to this hotel when I travel to Mexico.
For the price it wasnt worth it . Not enough chairs and umbrellas at the pools. The resort is so big that it’s hard to walk everywhere and they don’t provide enough transportation. Food is 3/5 not the best not many options. Drinks are weak. The resort is supposed to be adults only but yet I still saw children. If I pay to have adults only that’s what I should have. House keeping takes forever it’s so bad that i had a plate in my room for hours it started to get ants. In the details they offer you 1500$ in credit but when you arrive they hand you 1500$ in coupons that you can barely use. Service in the restaurants were lacking On the bright I saw a monkey on the resort which was cool and the pools were nice. Sadly I won’t be returning to this resort. They also charge you an extra environmental fee.
Beautiful property with endless activities, only downside is that the food lacked in variety and flavor. If the food had been better I’d give this resort a 5/5, unfortunately since the food was sub-par I’d give my stay a 3/5.
The TRS-Yukatan Hotel provides an amazing experience. The entire staff across the board were some of the kindest humans I have had the pleasure of staying with. the butlers in our building, Erasmo, Paola, and Belen tended to our every need and exceeding our expectation. The property was easy to get around, beautiful, and very clean. The maid serviced the room in the morning and in the evening to turn down the bed. This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. Thank you. : )
Disappointed. Never any clean towels at the pools. Every meal took over an hour - many times we would be completely done with our buffet before we were even greeted or if we were we would never get the drinks we ordered. The used cups, plates and towels were all over the property. Drug dealers allowed to roam the beaches of the property and come right up to you - literally every 5 minutes. Room service was cold. We were told to use their app to make dining reservations- so we did, and when we showed up to the restaurant they had nothing in “the system”. We got little to no sleep for four night due to the noise…
