The property Is still under renovation and the rooms still need to be updated we had a 32in old school tv that stood on the dresser the jetted tub was not clean it had a rust ring around it as well as the jets had rust…room service is not included in your stay it’s an additional charge and if you don’t get reservations for a restaurant they get you a table if you buy a bottle…we basically ate at the buffets which was not bad the pasta and seafood options are good for those that do not eat meat like me…staff was friendly oh yea and the drinks are all watered down so make sure you buy a bottle at the hotel or order double shots on the side to add yourself

The staff is awesome, the conditions of the room were on the lower end, room smelled like mold, beds where uncomfortable. The jacuzzi looked dirty. This was our 4th time there, last time was four years ago and the conditions of the resort have deteriorated significantly since 2021. The shows were average not exciting or a real wow factor. The food was better four years ago, more snack options like street tacos by the pool around lunchtime, great hibachi, etc. This time the tortillas were terrible, the sushi at the Asian restaurant was not good, with the exception of the sashimi. The staff is very attentive I'll give them that. Pool was not very clean, and you can just tell it's worn out. I went with a fun crowed so we had a blast regardless. Part of the resort was closed they as well are supposed to be doing a complete reno on the resort, which it really does need it. I think once they do that it will be back to all its glory.

This resort was an older one and could use a good renovation. The staff was not friendly or helpful. Limited dining choices. This resort lacks cleanliness. The staff does not disinfect the dining tables. The buffet area was not refilled with food. You could see the rundown kitchen and the walls were dirty. Bathrooms were old and smelled old. At the pool area there was no other amenities besides a swim bar. No snack bar. Overall, I would not return to state in this resort again.

This resort was a total disappointment. The resort is renovating in area and aesthetically does not look nice. It was not informed to us that they were renovating when we contacted the resort. The resort is old and the area we stayed in could benefit from renovation. This resort lacks cleanliness. They do not disinfect the tables where you dine at. The food in the buffet was never refilled, and the kitchen was rundown and dirty. The staff is very unfriendly and not helpful. Dining options are limited. Food was not delicious. The shows that they provide are very basic. At the beach there are no cocktail waitress to bring you drinks only one bar and no snacks available in the pool or beach area for lunch options. Towels are old and small and do not cover the beach chair. Overall, I would not recommend to stay at this resort.

The beach could use some daily clean up to make it desirable to swim in. Too many sales people that try to get you to buy even before seeing the resort. Everything was wonderful. They went out of there way to make sure we were having a great time. One concierge was smug and not helpful. It was a guy. He did not seem to want to help us so we just left and came back later and had a girl that was helpful. The food was good. Cleaning staff was awesome! We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

Staff was excellent especially Veronica day shift in buffet, two of our waiters Felipe and Luis, concierge in platinum. The fact we had to change rooms because of water backing up in room was very inconvenient for everyone in our party. Little animals everywhere were very annoying and we were not able to relax in pool area or outdoor areas. Do not plan on returning to this resort

Everything was great about the property, the food options, the staff, the service, the rooms, the pool, the beach. However, there is this princess royal agency that tainted our trip. For once, they harass you the minute you walk in to the resort, offering you free gifts, tours and such but the reviews online are nothing but horrible experiences. I wouldn't stay here again for that reason, they continued to chase me and get me to do a tour that supposedly included a cenote tour and tequila tasting.

The service and staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. However, the hotel itself feels quite old — both the common areas and my room were outdated. My room also had an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and while the staff tried to fix it by spraying something, it only covered the odor temporarily and left the floor slippery. The rooms definitely need some updates, especially the furniture and wall paint. On a positive note, the buffet was very good, and the Mama Mia restaurant was great. The Mexican restaurant and Miso Thai were just okay.
