We booked back in February 2017 for the week of April 22 thru 28th 2017. When we arrived our room wasn't ready even though we made sure to get there after 3pm to assure our room would be ready since check in starts at 3. We got there at 4:38pm on 4/22 and our r room wasn't ready. They sent us to Blau natura resort which was outdated, the ac didn't work and the toilet didn't flush. The phone didn't work either. They told us we would be there until Monday the 24th then we could get our room at be live. We get a letter at 7pm on Sunday night saying our room at be live was ready we thought this is great well no. We get to be live and our room was literally a 1/2 a mile away from the main lobby and the ac didn't work again. We were told it was a temporary and that we would get upgraded to a water view suite on Monday the 24th. Monday morning came and we had an excursion planned for the afternoon so I w not to the front desk and confirmed with the blonde Russian employee if our room would be ready when we got back around 6pm she said yes not to worry it's been set aside for us. We get back at 630pm and went straight to the front desk....they gave our room away and tried to blame us for not getting there earlier. It didn't matter that I had talked to someone to make sure that there wouldn't be any issues. I tried to talk to the MGR and he Wouldn't come out. They gave us VIP bracelets but they weren't worth it & never did I get a suite. Don't stay here overworked staff doesn't care.

The registration process was confusing upon arriving. I paid for an upgrade to the VIP - Adults club which included a private checkin but there were no directions by the staff. Once I finally arrived in the area to check in, it was extremely long just to find out that the master suite with ocean view that I booked was unavailable. The staff attempted to make up for but did not deliver completely. This was a huge disappointment. Most of the staff are friendly, rooms are clean, but food is not great throughout the resort. I'll add the adults club was much better than the normal section of the hotel property. But I should not have had to upgrade to receive a mediocre experience. VIP there was equivalent to a normal stay in other resort properties.

The quality and preparation of the food was horrible. Also the staff offering you a tour and encouraging to join their vacation club were very annoying.

Great experience , just wasn't into the hassle of buying into there time share.

Way to many people that are allowed into the property/resort that hound you to buy stuff. Either part of the time share or vendors setting up tables or people on beach walking up and hounding you to look at the cheap stuff they want to sell you or the activities they want you do do.

The hotel is really good! Nice food , property is very well maintained and staff is amazing! The only thing we did not like was the Mexican Restaurant ! Worst food ever! Everything else was very good!

Un personal Atentos. Pero tienen una persona ofreciendo unas vacaciones hostigantes. Que dañan la estadía. Pero la comida buena y el restaurante Mejicano. Medio mala impresión.

- Bad Customer Service; 5/10 employees look unhappy and give a bad vibe - No orientation of the hotel during check in, no welcome drink as advertised - You will be hustled every 10 steps by guys wearing khaki uniform to buy stuff or tours all through your trip, they hang out in front of buffet restaurant and you cannot avoid them - We got all inclusive package but that did not include Room Service - There were many bars and areas in the upper lobby deck which were reserved for "VIP Guests" - No wifi unless you want to shell out extra - Room fridge is almost empty with 2 light beers and water

Terrible food. Nice staff though. Will not stay there again. Loved punta Cana but will stay at another resort next time.

They charged for wifi and the better quality liquor. The bar kept the wine in a white bleach bottle lol. Charged for better beach chairs and wifi. The Mexican restaurant was terrible we walked out. The buffet was great and nice staff but poor facility.

THE RESORT WAS VERY NICE HOWEVER THE FOOD SUCKED LIKE IT WAS REALLY DISGUSTING.THE ELEVATOR WAS BROKEN . WHEN I WOKE UP ONE MORNING WE DIDNT HAVE ANY WATER BUT THEY WERE FAST TO PUT IT BACK ON. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI AND THEY ONLY GIVE YOU 25 hours OF WIFI FOR YOU STAY. AND WHEN IT RUN OUT U HAVE TO PAY AGAIN SO BE SURE TO TURN YOUR WIFI OFF WHEN YOURE NOT USING YOUR PHONE. HOWEVER THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND THE STAFF HAVE ACTIVITES EVERYDAY AT THE POOL WHICH WAS FUN.

Beach is beautiful! Room was good, however staff are extremely pushy and are constantly nagging you to buy items/excursions. This was my second time staying at this hotel and this was by far a completely different experience than I had 2 years ago. Make sure you sit further back on the beach or you will also be harassed on the beach to buy things. Punta Cana is beautiful, however my experience at this hotel was mediocre. FYI don't get tricked into getting your "welcome gift" they will try to push you to buy more vacations through them.

I typically don't write reviews but this time i would to share our experience. I went with 3 couples and we all had the same experience. Negatives: 1. The hotel service-staff was not pleasant, rather rude and spoke little to no English. They forget what you ordered and need to come back to ask again or sometimes you dont even get what you ordered. 2. They will make up prices for things you are interested in buying, there is no standard and they will follow you around the resort trying to sell their product after you repeatedly tell them you are no longer interested. 3. Hotel rooms had an insect smell and ours specifically had mold. All of our clothes (worn and unworn) felt wet and had a smell to them. 4. You have to pay for some dinners 5. You have to pay for wifi (no wifi at the hotel). If you want to use wifi you have to pay $4 per 15min or more. 6. They will sell you excursions and tell you what you want to hear. (Our excursion did not include lunch or any type of drinks, it was from 9:30am- 6pm) 7. We had issues with our room key 5/7 days. We had to walk to the front desk every time and had "security" come out to reset the lock. 8. You have to pay for the safe in the room $3 per day Positives: 1. Beach was sandy and nice 2. During the day they had entertainment around the pool bar

The service, food and facilites are good. The personal are excelent and had a great program activities.

Unfortunately did not have good experience with hotel. They ended up giving up my reserved room to one of my family members (same last name) and they gave me a room with one bed, i travelled with my mom husband and 8month old. Took hours and hours of us calling until they can bring us an extra bed( which was old and uncomfortable) and finally Came late at night when my baby was sleeping. Traveling with a baby is hard enough and to have to go through all this was not helpful.

Horrible very unorgized , ask for 2 beds and they only gave me one . I saw other people get upgraded for no reason , it was a joke.

I had a very good time, the staff were friendly and hard working people, making sure we were okay . Special thanks to spaghetti and caramelo for all there help, and making sure all the guest were having a happy time in the Resort .,

Don't allow photos to fool you, every room new & old had issues, stains on every surface. Unfriendly staff. Awful food. Overall hostel of resorts

Some services need to be improved, internet service is too expensive beside one hour free that they provide,some features inside the room do not work.

nice hotel with bad service

cheap hotel extra charges for everything

They charged for wifi and the better quality liquor. The bar kept the wine in a white bleach bottle lol. Charged for better beach chairs and wifi. The Mexican restaurant was terrible we walked out. The buffet was great and nice staff but poor facility.
