We loved everything about it - fantastic food, refreshing drinks, incredible beach, awesome golf course, fun lively pool w/bar, super friendly helpful staff, etc. We will definitely visit again and bring friends & family next time! The only thing we would have liked to have more of was easily located in-room electrical outlets and/or charging stations. Overall it was fabulous - a great trip and wonderful getaway!

Great food, best beach, great service. My wife and I have been there every year since the resort opened, 12 years in a row!

This was by far the most amazing property I've traveled to in a long time. The facilities were beautiful and the staff was wonderful! We are already planning to go back next summer. You will NOT be disappointed if you go here!

I stayed at the Grand Bavaro mid-June 2019 and am from the USA. I was there for a total of 3 nights (total of 4 days). I’ve never written a review but my butler insisted I should , also currently there is a mass hysteria about visiting DR in the US news right now so for those who have some fears: clear them (for this resort anyways). I found this resort to be extremely safe. For some background, I am a 25 year old woman and was here with my friend (also a woman). We were looking for a relaxing resort where we could find peace, mind and activities and the Grand Bavaro fulfilled all of those expectations. Upon observations, majority of the other resort goers are about in their 50s+ but I’ve seen some people in their 30s (mostly couples). The vibe is comfortable and respectful. If you’re really looking to party and to be rowdy I don’t think this is the place for you. The food is great, I’ve never been to a resort but have been to a few buffets before and like to think I’m someone who knows a lot about food and has eaten almost anything and everything. Sometimes things were either too salty or sweet and I found the drinks to be light and not very strong. My only real gripe with this place is the reservation system. I knew beforehand from other reviews how important it is but I have to say the entire system seemed too exhausting of a process for someone who’s on vacation. Overall I think this place is great, it’s quiet, peaceful, and a great place to relax.

We went to this property for our anniversary. The property itself is beautiful and meticulously well-kept. The grounds staff does an immaculate job. The beach was soft white sand and seaweed was cleared away. There is plenty of shade and seats on the beach. The pool and pool bar were nice and we were able to get a cabana every day without any issues. We got the swim out room which had butlered service. Our butlers were extremely friendly and super helpful and arranged sweet surprises for our anniversary. Staling was my favorite. Attentive and willing to tell you about the job and staff (all male staff need to be clean-shaven - noticed the no facial hair trend and he confirmed). Also told us about the management hierarchy and other curiosities. Sylvestre was our other butler and he was helpful and nice as well. The two of them made a great team, made an effort to learn our preferences and made sure our room was well stocked. The entertainment was eh. The entertainers themselves were ok but the sound system in the theatre was pretty horrible. Lots of reverb and poor quality sound. Food was ok, typical of all-inclusives. The reservation system for restaurants was stupid and often meant the place was nearly empty. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous manicured facility, friendly & helpful staff, excellent food, a lot to do... golf, spa, offsite excursions...or just do nothing! We will never forget the Star Friends who lead the daily fun activities (e.g. dancing lessons, bingo, bocci, horseshoes, etc.) We were impressed by the joyful personalities of Ariella, Mini-Me, Baby Face, etc. And we can't forget our favorite pool bar server Hamlet! We'll be back!

This is the best all inclusive resort in Punta Cana. Safe, super clean, excellent food, beach cleaned up every day. We spent only 80 US$ for eight night stay for taxi (from and to airport)! Everything else was pre-paid and 10$ went to tip to the room service. Amazing! Planning to go back to the same place next year.

Resort was excellent, just the food wasn’t hot just warm at the buffets but there a large selection

Liked the general friendliness without being pushy and artificial Loved the service and attention to details The buffet was excellent Nothing we didn't like

Staff and service amazing. The food was excellent. Resort impeccable, the best all inclusive we’ve ever been to. Golf was amazing too. Every day the butler prepared a rose petal bubble bath for us with champagne when we came back from the beach before dinner. We’ve never been so relaxed. We’ll be back.

The staff was fantastic! The food was delicious! Everything was amazing!
