Starting from our main guy Joel Sosa number 1 so attentive in every aspect then the best 2 bartenders junior and Juan by the pool couldn’t say anything better than them treated me like I was at home and better. The in the buffet area chef Miguel and the manager Martin they made my mother in laws stay even better thank you everyone for all the help and the front desk yeuri best of the best everyone up there

Spent four nights at Dreams Onyx with our family and two other familes. The beach and pools were the big highlights, especially the water park at the Explorers Club. The staff and service were great, but the food was OK.

Dream Onyx was best pick when we’ve booked for vacation. We were never disappointed on the choice we’ve made and thanks to our butler Franklin our 10 days stay at Dream Onyx resort and spa was beyond amazing. We are definitely going back to this beautiful resort and this because of great hospitality from the staff, starting with our great butler Franklin who was every day in contact with us, reserving table to dinner restaurant, all needs for our room, having a wheelchair for me to make my stay there more enjoyable since I wasn’t able to walk long distance. From inside out this was the best place to be for vacation. Food was great , stuff was very nice and welcoming every single time you get to their restaurants, very clean resort inside out . We’ve enjoyed to have our breakfast and lunch at preferred club next to the buffet , everyone there was very friendly and welcoming, hard workers that we appreciate them very much . Once again , we were really pleased to have Franklin as our butler and for sure we will ask to have him again as butler when we will go back . Blessing to all there . Definitely 5 stars resort

First time in Punta Cana and I wasn’t disappointed. Definitely will go back at Dream Onyx. We had the best butler (Franklin) and we would love to have him again as butler. Great and clean resort, excellent food,great staff . Definitely recommended, you’ll not waste your money booking at Dream Onyx.

Dreams was very nice and clean. All the staff was very friendly. Javier our VIP concierge was very helpful setting up with our day to day activities. I scoured the internet for a property that would accommodate both my husband and I and our two teen boys. As a parent on vacation, you never want to hear those two dreaded words… “We’re bored”. Well, let me tell you we never heard those words, not even once because we never seen our kids. They were off either playing basketball in pool, playing pool/beach volleyball, at the waterpark or grabbing a quick snack at the taco truck. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. My son has severe nut allergies and everyone went above and beyond to ensure he was able to eat all of the desserts and enjoy himself just like the rest of us. I do have to shout out two specific staff members… First, Maria C. or as we liked to call her “New York” because she never slept. We’d see her at the preferred breakfast in the morning and at the teppanyaki at night. Maria is not only hard working but she takes great pride in her work and making sure that she’s helping you have a fantastic vacation. Last but definitely not least was our butler Javier. From the moment we arrived Javier was nothing but thoughtful, accommodating and caring. He genuinely went out of his way each day to look for us, make sure we had enough snacks/ towels in our room. He printed out multiple allergy cards for us to show at the restaurants, he sent us daily activity/show lists. He even decorated our sons room for his birthday with balloons and a cake! He truly made our trip extra special! resort did not disappoint.

Upon arriving at Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa in the Dominican Republic, my family and I were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Preferred Club, where we experienced VIP treatment throughout our stay. From the private check-in to the attentive service of our Butler, Javier, every detail was meticulously arranged. Javier went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even organizing dinner reservations and transportation. His daily communication was greatly appreciated. Staying here was an absolute pleasure, and we look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel is very clean. We did not find the Premium upgrade to be worth the $$ - but mainly because we like to be left alone and our assigned butler was eager to help; he was lovely and kind; we just don't like a lot of fuss.
