The Elite Pool was amazing — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and just steps away from the beach, which made it the perfect place to relax all day. The beach itself was stunning, with soft sand and gorgeous turquoise water. Every single server we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The drinks were made perfectly every time — consistently excellent whether at the pool, beach, or restaurants. It truly felt like the staff cared about making our stay special. The grounds were gorgeous and very well kept, making it such a pleasure to walk around the resort. There was always something to do, and we never once felt bored. Whether relaxing, enjoying activities, or just soaking up the atmosphere, the days flew by. As for the food, it was good overall — especially for an all-inclusive resort. While there’s always room for small improvements, we truly have nothing to complain about. We always found something we enjoyed, and the variety was solid. Most importantly, we had zero issues during our entire stay, which made for a completely stress-free vacation. We would absolutely return to this resort in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting!

I stayed at this hotel last year, and I found it to be considerably worse this year. When we checked in for two rooms, we were told that one of them had a king bed, but when we went to the room, both were twin beds. When we went back to the front desk, we were told that there were no king beds available, but no one explained why they lied to us when we checked in. I found the food quality and availability to be worse than last year. At the outdoor food court, I found undercooked chicken while some items were not regularly replenished and thus not available. Both rooms smelled musty and unventilated, and were also cold despite the fact that we did not use the air conditioning. I don't understand what was making them cold. The restaurants are also kept very cold which is not comfortable for guests who often come from cold climates in search of warmth. Riu Palace is supposed to be a premiere brand, but it is hardly premiere.

Property surrounded by beautiful foliage. Rooms very spacious and clean. Very clean property in general. Very disappointing quality of food, food handling and food serving/display (comparing to other resorts in the area) . Very disappointing service in the buffet - staff evidently expecting tips otherwise they simply don’t care. Food (fruits) not always fresh and the same cut fruits reused for breakfast and lunch/ dinner. Milk watered down with water, which was also confirmed by waiters- had to request fresh milk from a carton.

Clean and spacious rooms, great food, amazing pools, beautiful property, activities all day long. The staff could have been friendlier, and very little English was spoken. The WiFi was terrible and the app leaves a lot to be desired. The beach is over crowded with people trying to sell you various items and drugs almost immediately upon stepping in the sand. The free transport was not worth the wait once we arrived at the airport and we had to leave the hotel 4 hours before hour flight. In hindsight, private transportation would have been a better option. Overall a good experience.

The cleanliness and the staff are excellent; however, there are things like the elevator floors, which were worn and damaged, and some paint details on the walls and on the exterior part of the hotel. I don’t know if they overbook, but there is an enormous number of guests. Despite that, the staff makes a huge effort and attends quite quickly. There was only one incident at the French restaurant where we waited more than an hour to get in. The person in charge of receiving guests and assigning tables was a bit rude, and since we were a group of seven, it seemed like we were left for last. I feel that this was not managed well, and perhaps people who arrived after us were seated first. In addition, we ordered five desserts and only two were brought to us, so we left because the delay was enormous and the rest never arrived — that was at the Krystal restaurant.
