The hotel was clean, well taken care of, and beautiful resort. The staff does not respond when questions are asked but they do hear you and walk away to go get any requests. It would be nice to hear, sure I can do that, or yes, I’ll be back. Most of the time I did not get a nod or yes when I asked for a glass of milk with my coffee for example. The pools were beautiful however, we did not receive a towel key so we were sent to walk across the resort ( which is big) back to the lobby to get one… it was mid day so a lot of check ins were going in, we had to wait in line. The food at the restaurants were not that good, we are not picky eaters but every restaurant we tried was a solid 5, needed salt pepper and some hot sauce options, not available. The best food on the resort if the BUFFET….. the beach was beautiful, the location is great. If you purchase any excursions with the guys at the beach or the resort, be sure to bring cash and expect to spend quite a bit since they will stop at many gift shops, beach restaurant, and tours that’ll push to pay for extras. I give this place a 3 because of the food mostly… the cocktails and amount of bars were great. But I would like to see Riu improve on the quality of food..

Wow… this place is AMAZING! The hotel is gorgeous, the food is next-level, and there’s something for everyone—whether you’re chilling with the fam or ready to party. We hit up a bunch of restaurants, but the steakhouse? Chef’s kiss. If you’re Elite Club, do yourself a favor and have dinner at the Elite Club restaurant. Honestly, being Elite felt like royalty—private beach, private pool, private bar, private everything. Plus early check-in and late checkout? Yes, please! The vibe here is unbeatable. The neon pool party? BEST party I’ve ever been to—hands down. The staff? Super friendly, taught us some Spanish, and made us feel right at home. People from other RIU resorts were sneaking over just to eat at our buffet because the food was THAT good. Real talk: The only meh thing? Room service. The menu is super basic—club sandwiches, ham sandwiches, chips and queso. Not great, but honestly, everything else makes up for it. Bottom line: If you’re heading to the DR, skip the other resorts and book Bravo Palace. You won’t regret it!

There was no entertainment during the day by the pools. There is no selection of food; every day the same thing (fries, chicken nuggets, burgers and hot dogs. There were no safety guards anywhere by the pools. No one comes to get your drink order. Called reception few times for water and they never came. They only care about their tips. Service terrible. Asked for a crib for my daughter and brought me one with roaches and maggots coming out of it. I was chasing them in my room. Then when I told the maid about it, she brought me “another one” which was completely false. This vacation cost a pretty penny and it was by far my worst vacation in my life. RIU NEEDS to go to their basic roots and start caring about the quality of their resorts and not where they can cut corners to put more money in their pockets. Simply nasty place. Look elsewhere. Beautiful location. Expected much more from them.

The resort was clean and well-equipped with amenities. However, the room was not as spotless as it should have been. Upon arrival, the bathroom had a faint odor, and the bed sheets smelled like sweat. Later, we discovered that the smell was due to their detergent, as we had switched the sheets three times and the smell persisted. The food was excellent. All five restaurants were great, and the best part was that reservations were not required; it was first come, first served. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our stay. My family and I enjoyed our time at the resort.

Specialty restaurant and Buffet , food was not that great. Not many vegetarian options. Italian restraunt was pathetic . To place like RIU it can be much better. Rest everything else is good. Facility was kept clean. No elevators but staff helped with luggage.

The food options are not great or customizable for Indian tourists. And we found most of the food is very salty. Every item is made with lots of sodium in it. No option to customize cooking for vegetarians.
