A big aspect this resort had to offer was the entertainment. The poolside/ beach games and activities arranged by the entertainment staff were amazing and made my experience so much fun. Pikachu (along with all the other entertainers) were always such good energy and always made things so enjoyable! They did their best to connect with guests and created a great environment for not only adults but kids as well.

On day 2 of our stay, My 2 yo son and 4 yo daughter both developed fever. My son developed a severe diarrhea the next days which required urgent medical treatment for severe dehydration in the hospital. This also cost ed us a fortune by visiting the doc onsite and ended up being transferred to the hospital. In the meanwhile, my husband and I also had stomach upset and diarrhea, strongly linked to food served onsite. One night the fried rice served ant the buffet smelt spoiled. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we were confined to our room most days and can’t attend any prepaid activities and dining. To make matters worse, a cabinet in our room collapsed and nearly caused injury. DON’T risk coming to this resort! The whole experience was disappointing and had to deal with lots of distress and we ended up checking out earlier due to the my son get so sick

The hotel is beautiful, with a stunning pool and a clean beach area. However, the overall experience is just okay, mainly because of the food. Most dishes are basic, repetitive, and overly salty, with very little variety. Don’t expect to find seafood here—there’s almost none, maybe only 10% of the selection. Breakfast and lunch buffets serve mostly the same food every day. Room service, however, tastes much better than the buffet. The only restaurant I would recommend is the Gondola, where we had good food. If you want steak, note that the only steakhouse, El Asador, is for adults 18+ and reservations are hard to get. The drink selection is very basic, and service is slow because only one person is preparing the drinks, which results in long lines. The hotel is very large, so if you don’t like walking, it may not be ideal. Pillows were too high and uncomfortable, and the linens weren’t cotton. Bathrooms are small, though the shower areas are spacious. Public restroom items like the toilet brush are exposed, which was unpleasant. Overall, the hotel has beautiful facilities, but the food and some service issues make the experience just average. The staff are helpful, which is one positive point.

It took forever to get to the room with a maze of stairs, hallways and elevators, I am not sure how an elderly person can do all this walking. I am not that old and ended up having foot sores on my feet from so much walking. I tried calling the front reception just to find out our phones were not working so I had to walk back through the maze to the front just to be told there are no more rooms available and to come back In the morning to talk to the supervisor. After we got settled into our new room, the safe was not working, and our power went out 2x times throughout the week where we had to call in for electrician service. Our TV was also not working. We are a family of 3 with a 10 year old boy. You advertise a big open beach, but when we got there it was marked off with a rope and boats were all over the place very close so basically we are swimming in dirty water full of boat gas. The hotel is beautiful but poorly managed, had nothing to do at night or during the day. The "Kids" club was empty the teens club he was not allowed in since its 12+. How can a hotel this size and for the money we pay have such bad management? There were clearly places for entertainment which were empty. As for the cherry on top on Tuesday I got food poisoning and had a fever tuesday, wednesday and thurday. My husband could not find the most basic chicken soup and bring to my room as they don't allow you to take the kitchen dishes anywhere. There was no chicken soup.

On Thanksgiving they had a live turkey in buffet area at Atlantico restaurant. Not animal welfare and not healthy with open food sources .Unfortunately we got a salmonella infection.
