Belnin at the front desk, Eddy, Christopher & Perla at the Sports Bar were amazing and made our trip amazing and unforgettable. This is my second time at this property since first going in 2024 and I have no notes. Every single person on & off the resort were so kind and helpful. I loved the resort cats, the property was always clean and there is just endless things to do at this hotel. Best way to move around is via uber. HIGHLY recommend for anyone to go if you are ever traveling to DR :)

Very nice property, well manicured! Upgrade to Adult only "Unique" package is ok. The food could be better since it's an all inclusive package, and the service is ok, depending what restaurant you're at. With bigger groups, they tend to forget items ordered. The room was clean and was will taken care of. Most of the staff was friendly the water park was fun but the splash pad behind it had an issue with the tiles lifting from a adhesive failure over all we had a great time.

My husband and I both work in customer service so we tend to always stay positive and optimistic with any interactions. I hate to say, our trip was absolutely horrendous. From arrival we were greeted with negativity, a room that smelled like stagnant water (and our ceiling actually collapsed with water), broken tiles, poor food (this wasn’t our first all inclusive so we knew what to expect - this was so far below), an extremely tedious and non functioning dinner reserve system, broken fridges, etc. The big water park was the only redeeming factor. I’d highly consider researching other properties to have a pleasant family trip.

Beautiful resort and beach. But very big, over 1,000 rooms, very spread out. I went in February, thinking I was avoiding the crowds, I can’t imagine it during summer or holidays. Some staff were great, but inconsistent, probably due to the size of the hotel. I wasn’t loving the food, I am a bit picky but I heard the same from other guests. My balcony was amazing, spacious and a nice grt away from the masses.

We had a phenomenal stay at the Lopesan and would go back in a heartbeat. There is plenty of variety for food. The beach is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Drinks are plentiful and delicious. There are places for quiet/relaxation within the resort, but also more lively areas too. You can’t go wrong staying here!

The Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort is a visually stunning property with a lot of potential, but our experience was marred by rigid management and a lack of customer focus. While we enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the food was decent for an all-inclusive, the logistical headaches made our stay more stressful than it should have been. The Room Assignment Debacle We traveled as a large group of four families. Understanding the complexity of resort bookings, we reached out several weeks in advance to request rooms located near each other. Despite our proactive communication, the hotel did the exact opposite—they scattered us across every corner of the resort. Being completely separated made coordinating activities and spending time together unnecessarily difficult. It felt as though our requests weren’t just ignored, but disregarded entirely. The Infamous Towel Policy One of the most frustrating aspects of the stay was the towel policy. The resort charges a $25 fee for lost towels, which might sound reasonable on paper, but in practice, it creates a toxic environment. Because the staff is so strict about the return, it essentially incentivizes guests to "steal" towels from one another's chairs just to avoid the fine. It’s a bizarre system that breeds distrust among guests and is a major buzzkill for a vacation. Service & Communication We found the staff to be largely unaccommodating and inflexible. There was a noticeable shift in attitude depending on the language spoken; we felt

The room was SO outdated and there was no fridge or any sore of amenities in the rooms. The staff was ok, they were not helpful at first but it did get better the more staff we ment. There’s zero water bottles unless you buy them at the gift shop. I went with a couple girls and we would never go to the breeze again. It ruined Bahamas for us. Unfortunately, we booked Riu first, we had to cancel with no refund so we went with a cheaper option since we had to pay for it again and i regret it. Don’t stay here unless you want the cheapest hotel with barely any amenities and cheap, CHEAP liquor. I would never recommend this resort to anyone!

The room was nice and big, with plenty of storage. The mini bar lacked "bar"...only 2 beers and you only got them again if they cleaned. The staff were wonderful. The food is what you would expect for a large resort, ok but nothing spectacular. One thing I wish I had known was how much seaweed there was on the beach and in the water, it was a lot.

The hotel was very nice… although very large. Too large maybe (almost 1/2 mile from the beach to the water park. The staff was not very nice… not mean, but certainly not happy or accommodating. They did not hsve enough pool chairs for all the people booked… several altercations between guests stealing previously saved chairs. The entertainment staff was bad! And the nightly shows we good… but a 10pm start was much too late for a family with kids(9&6) I will say, it was the best resort food we have experienced… this is our 6th all inclusive!
