Where do I start? Starting from check in, we had to wait in line for 45 min. The staff, servers, bartenders, cleaning staff, everyone was too slow. The only server we loved was Ana, she was the exception. She was fast, always ready to take our order and we never had to wait for anything. She needs to train all the others, she was the role model of good customer service. We had to ask 3 times for pillows which were terrible anyway. Had to ask 3 times for water bottles in our room and 3 times when our toilet was clogged and still no one showed up, we had to unclog our own toilet. Most of the staff could not understand a word in english, we either had to use sign language or use google translate. The towels for the pool were disgusting, no wonder people got their own towels. We saw a big black cockroach in our closet but did not want to make a big deal out of it. This resort’s concierge service had only one purpose, to trick people into buying memberships, some new form of timeshare. The food was ok, but PLEASE do not use the same grill to cook pork and beef. Religious people like my husband, that cannot eat pork, could not enjoy any of the other meat. Furthermore, there was golf carts being used for transportation from the hotel to the beach, to the aquagames etc.. but only for VIPs!! Please do not believe for one second that this resort is more than a 2 star resort! Please read all the reviews and I hope this one helps Grand Sirenis Punta Cana to improve some things!

The property was clean, a lot of dining options, staff was amazing and overall you’ll have a nice stay to rest and have fun for the whole family. The only inconvenience was that the air conditioning unit was having problems when we arrived. We had 3 rooms in total and two of them had electric issues. The problem was solved at 1am when we finally got relocated to a new room since 5pm when we initially notified the issue. This made our first day a little uncomfortable the first day. Starting with the check in the agent was unhelpful and put us in a room with 1 bed TWICE while we had asked for 2 beds then when we arrive in the 2 bed room the tv hdmi port was broken and unable to operate correctly .We had to call a technician when he came 30 mins later he had no experience at all in this domain so he said he would call a real technician yet no one came for the rest of the day. The day after we called again :same story he came had no experience but this guy actually try to do something yet he was just moving his hands and at the end he said he couldnt do it and he shut down the tv then said he would call someone else .you guessed it no one came so we were fed up and asked to test the tv in another room and it worked .it was only when we put down the tv and placed it outside of the room that they finally said that they would fix it and changed the tv.Changing topic the beach was full of seaweed and bassicly unusable if you dont like seaweed the facilities were overcrowded and i feel like they would close early(eg pool at 6pm) compared to other 5 star hotels we have been to . The room was outdated and looks like it came from anciet roman times nothing better then a 3 star room at most.overall horrible and could've been way better with more effort from most employees of the hotel. this is very barely a 4 stars

Food was pretty bad. Steak at hibachi i got served multiple peices that were 100% fat. The steak house NY strip was about ⅓" thick and the fattiest NYS I've ever seen. Multiple wait staff not bilibgual had to use google translate to order. Lobby music was 108 decible (i measured it), kid had to hold ears and run to the buffet. the special VIP breakfast, ya that's a 90 minute time share presentation. The water park was fun but insufficient water, i have both elbows and a knee with bad friction burns. It's not terrible, I'm giving 3 star to be fair it is a 3 star resort in my opinion not 5.
