My main complaint, was that most people in the buffets, did not speak or understand English. One morning I asked three separate servers for a glass of water. They all shook their head like they understood, yet I never received my water. I know some Spanish, but not enough for a conversation. All of the bartenders were friendly, and the staff in the specialty restaurants were friendly and spoke English. Another downside, is the pool closes at 6PM. However, the pool is clean. There are plenty of loungers on the beach and around the pool. While they say do not safe seats, everyone still does. That makes it an issue for everyone else. Not sure what they could do to stop that. There are always activities around the pool. The resort is huge and for the most part clean. The beach has seaweed, but they were good about raking it up. This is definitely a family friendly resort. The water park was lots of fun. They have areas, for little kids, and bigger slides for the teenagers and adults. We had what they called a one bedroom suite for the four of us. Three adults and 1 teenager. It was two queen sized beds, squished together, and a sofa sleeper in the other room. Not at all what I expected when I booked it. All in all, not a bad resort, but I do not think I would go back.

We traveled with small kids (5 and 2) and everyone enjoyed themselves. The beach is a bit narrow and the sunbeds are all gone by 9 am, but the kids enjoyed the sand and the warm water. The animator team was very active doing face painting, zumba, pool games, even a live concert. Very delicious food, fresh ripe fruits served at all hours of the day. Maybe it was the time (end of December) when we went, but the hotel wasn't quite prepared for the number of visitors. They ran out of towels, beach towels, cutlery, ice cream, plates, everything that could possibly run out. The staff was also a bit cold if you didn't approach them with tips. And cleanliness could be improved. Our room was on the ground floor, which was good with the stroller, but less fortunate in terms of the bugs entering. The room smelled quite a bit and was dirty when we arrived. After the first day the cleaner did a great job. The pool was quite dirty the day we arrived, there was trash floating in it and with the swim up bar, there were drunken people in it. Most of the pool is quite deep so not suitable for small children. The water park is a disaster. The pools have very abrasive coating, even the baby pool and the water is very cold. No kid under 8 can use the water slides. And none of the pools in the water park have sloped entry, not even the baby pool. Grand Sirenis Punta Cana has many activities for everyone, disco every night, a la carte restaurants with dress code, buffet, bars.

Resort is overall clean and well maintained beach & pool. Room we had was for 4 people and food & drinks included. The buffet & restaurants have good number of options but very low vegetarian or vegan options. Staff is courteous but they have too many people to ask you about things and less people to actually get the job done. We had issues with our toilet flush tank which was working intermittently. The bathroom roof also started leaking water by the 3rd day. There was also a lot of push to buy the Ultimate Leisure Club (ULC) membership as well. Took 4hrs to pitch the benefits of different levels of membership costing 20k, 30k & 40k USD which already has a not great reputation (please do your online research). Entire pitch was verbal with no concrete contract/guarantee. Hence we did not buy. Overall good resort for a few days getaway and stay away from the membership.

People from lots of countries enjoying the weather and fun activities. Food was ok, could have been better. Steak was mostly tough, japanese food was good as was the tappan table preparer, he was entertaining. breakfast buffet was good. entertainment was fun!

The room was leaking from the second floor when we git there , the did not clean our room for 3 days while we called and called few times every day and the answer was always we will send someone to clean and they never did , the room was a little to small for 5 with one bathroom and the fan not working in the bathroom , we went out on a outside jurney package that they sell and we came back right on the dot 3pm where the buffet for the food was closing at 3 and they still refused to let us in , the manager came and basically told us to go away , not to mention to a drink at the bar even tho that did tip for every drink it was still horrible to wait So yes i would never come back here again nor recommend it

Our experience was disappointing and below expectations. From arrival, we did not feel welcomed. There was no clear guidance for check-in and we were redirected between multiple counters because we booked through Expedia. The process felt inefficient and disorganized. After registering in the morning, we had to return after 3 PM to ask for our room, and due to internal coordination issues, we didn’t receive our keys until after 3:50pm. The lack of communication was frustrating. Restaurant reservations also confusing. We were sent between our assigned manager, concierge, and lobby desk. The concierge later told us restaurants were fully booked, but we discovered reservations could be made online and time slots were still available. This option was never mentioned. Food variety was acceptable, but I experienced stomach issues starting the second day, raising hygiene concerns. Entertainment was limited. The advertised “game station” was under construction, the basketball court was closed, volleyball equipment unavailable. Our room felt outdated and cramped. The TV was broken on arrival and fixed the next day. Housekeeping was disappointing — bath mats gradually disappeared, and hand towels were never replaced during six nights. The membership presentation was intrusive. We received an 8 AM call while I was unwell, and what was promised as 90 minutes lasted nearly 3 hrs. Overall, poor communication, weak organization, and lack of service warmth made this stay disappointing.

did not get the room I requested on my reservation. I had to switch rooms, bathroom room celling was leaking- it took them almost 3 hours to come and fix it. I had to take a shower in a friend room. once it was they never fixed the light backs so I had only 2 light blub working. the food was not fresh. I asked for a mocktail for the kids and was told no only soda, while i see other kids had mocktails. bugs were found on the floors. shower towels only 2 was given, when i asked for more it it took almost 2 hours to get more. the only good lunch we had was a lobster lunch! most of the staff at the buffet did not attend to us unless we put a tip at the table!

So the staff in general is very disorganized, nobody knows nothing, if you ask they will give you zero information, not mention that more then half of the staff doesn't speak English such is fine, I have a good Spanish, but then when I tried to speak in Spanish they try to talk as fast as they can so you get very confused. They are not very clean, the reusable cups most of the times were dirty. The food didn't have anything cough my eyes (and I'm not a pick eater). Other thing very annoying they offer you stuff everyday for you to buy, either massage, tours, special dinners, I just wanted to rest! If I wanted something I would ask a Staff, just leave people alone! Our room was always very clean, the lady who cleaned did a very good job, and she was one of the few very nice people that I talked to. The hotel in general is absolutely HUGE! I wish they had golf car for everyone that is not a member lol I'd not stay there again, actually I don't think this is a country I would go back anytime soon. The nature is breath taken, we went in tour, but the culture/people doesn't help. They are very late, the traffic is terrible, I met many cranky people there. I hope if you are looking this review, its worth to try, maybe your experience will be better then mine.

I booked this stay clearly selecting 2 adults and 1 child (9 years old). However, upon arrival, the hotel claimed their system showed 1 infant instead of 1 child and demanded an additional charge of nearly $700. I spent almost two hours explaining that I had correctly entered my child’s age during the booking process. During this time, my child was exhausted, hungry, and crying beside me after a long trip. Under that pressure, I had no choice but to pay the extra charge in order to check in. Later, I received written confirmation from the booking platform clearly stating that my reservation was for 1 child, not an infant. I presented this confirmation to the hotel, but they simply ignored it and took no responsibility for the system error. This experience was extremely frustrating and stressful. Guests should not be forced to pay significant additional fees due to technical discrepancies between systems, especially after providing clear proof. I hope management seriously reviews this issue to prevent other families from going through the same ordeal.
