Eventhough reception is huge with multiple lanes check-in was exremly teadious around and hour plus give or take. WiFi was unstable and slow accross hotel (Lobby, Buffett, Room, Pool area, Beach), sewage smell accros lobby corridors and rooms toilets dont flush correctly across the hotel. Got sick on Bohio Dominicano Buffett, expired yogurt was served daily and room temperature food trays. Room was outdated with plumbing issues, shower didn't drain well and extractors not working. Lightfixtures broken.

No me gustó, la comida horrible en los Buffett, no hay aire acondicionado en ningún restaurante, con temperaturas de casi 95 grados nunca sentimos aire frío solo en el cuarto. Las comidas en los restaurantes pasables pero malas. Nunca me había sentido así. Es un hotel económico claro no podemos esperar lo mejor pero al menos algo digno. I had an amazing stay at the Barceló Bávaro Palace! The resort is absolutely beautiful. The pools were incredible, offering both lively areas with music and activities, as well as quieter spots to just relax. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony view. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job making sure everything was perfect every day. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent service. Our ambassador, Christian, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout our vacation. He was professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which truly made our experience even more enjoyable. The resort has so many dining options. I especially enjoyed the à la carte restaurants, and the buffets had a wide variety of food to choose from. The restaurants require reservations, but once planned, the meals were worth it. There’s also so much to do! Between the nightly shows, water sports, and the kids’ activities, it really feels like a place where families, couples, and friends can all find something to enjoy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The Barceló Bávaro Palace is a perfect mix of relaxation and fun in Punta Cana. Thanks to Christian and the entire staff, our trip was unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a tropical getaway, and I’d love to return in the future!

The hotel is beautiful, but too big. Our room was extremely far from the main lobby and the walk way was very dark. The food was average, at best. Always cold even in the speciality restaurants. The place is gorgeous, they spent tons of money on the decor but thr food was just ok. If you're into massive resorts, then this is the one for you. Again the resort is absolutely beautiful, but the food and drinks were just average.
