I liked the variety of foods available

Everything was great. I recommend the Level upgrade for a unique more personalized experience.

Food was not very good! Neighbors room was broken into..... Very limited English among workers Hounded by employees to buy excursions.

Starting with the check in, it was a nightmare, very long and no information was given about the amenities, shows , restaurants, entertainment etc ( you’ll need to figure it out) not able to make reservations in any restaurant until the third day. Be careful because in the hotel amenities on orbitz state that there are 9 restaurants THIS IS NOT TRUE ! only 3 that you can eat with your family “if you lucky can make the reservation”. The food is good un the restaurants Rooms look very old just some improvements , no working outlets, at least beds are comfortable and rooms are big. The entertainment in the pool is the same every day , the play list music is the same. There are only one place to get drinks and towels around the pool, so if you want to be at the beach make sure to get your drinks and towels before as there is not service at all at the beach either. Some employees are very nice () overall service is so badddddd, the majority of the employees looks mad old the time and are rude. the staff at the towels seems they do sign lenguaje because they don’t talk to you, if you find someone nice is because they are trying to sell you a tour. Kids water park is good, the food is good and fresh but takes forever on rush hours, If you can spend a little money book another hotel, because in this hotel they want you to upgrade to the level which you have to pay more per day. If you go with kids go to another hotel

Save your money! I’ve stayed at melia properties many times in the past and this will be the last. They didn’t have enough space for the restaurants for my wife and kids. I had to get upset just to get a couple of reservations and then had to pay more for the tepenyaki & steak restaurant just so we had a place to dine outside of the buffet. Not worth the money spent.

Very pleasant experience overall. Pool was very packed some days but the kids had tons of fun. Beach was okay, just not cleaned often enough. Specialty restaurants were very good, but service was not satisfactory. Food on regular all you can eat restaurants was good, not great.

Amazing resort, we stayed at the level side and the service and food was amazing.

The resort and all the greenery was beautiful. The room was spacious and decently clean. (Expect out dental kit they provide looked brand new with the plastic inside but it was open slighlty and the toothbrush had a hair on it) The food was not great at all , we survived our stay with fruits and frozen pizza. All food was barely warm and tastless, i grabbed a chicken from the buffet and it was raw on the inside. We had a bad experience with the service, the disorganization at the front desk and the mixed messages we kept getting . We were told by several ppl we were allowed to visit the other hotels and pools , we got kicked out of one of the pools saying we werent allowed. (Context my partner and i and not fussy people or made any scenes , we accepted and moved on) You cant get any reservations even when you call from 9am - there are times they didnt even answer the phone. Apparently the time of our entire trip all of the restaurants were booked , we even tried calling a day or two in advance and they said booked. We spoke to another couple thay said they got their reservation same day and called at 1pm . It wasnt until we wrote a review on orbitz about our experience and we were msgically given reservations. The infuriating part was the restaurants we not full honestly almost empty. We couldnt understood how they were "booked" Either way we made the best of our trip , but would not return

The property looks to be nice from afar. But it’s outdated, not the cleanest and a lot of the staff didn’t even help us when we needed it. The food was terrible. We upgraded to level tier and even then we weren’t treated nicely. They didn’t allow us to order room service and if we wanted to they were going to charge us. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone. I rate it a 2 out of 5. The trains that run take forever to get around. And when it started raining the last day there we were told they would give us an umbrella, it never arrived. And along with the rain it somehow started coming into our shower. The area around our room was super flooded. I could go on and on but I won’t. Punta Cana is a beautiful place but this resort just isn’t it.

Food is cold!! And if your dont arrive by opening time for breakfast lunch or dinner you will be left with the worse. Drinks are watery. And staff most of them have their face that they hate there jobs! Not sure if they just want to treat outsiders (non hispanic) better! But thats how I felt and my whole family are never staying at MELIA. Very disappointed never felt like this at a resort and it was suppose to be a great week since we went to attend a wedding

The staffing was not as helpful and friendly as other resorts I have visited. Everything was a disappointment from the entry to what they provided in the rooms. Supposedly we had a VIP room/reservation, however our room didn’t even have drinking water or anything of what was advertised. We were a group of three rooms and we were all disappointed. Would not recommend it.

The room was great.

The service was horrible. We were suppose to have a butler i saw him once. I think they're prejudice they only cater to certain people.

Didn’t like that we had to do reservations to every sit in restaurant when we are busy doing excursions and don’t have time to do reservations and come back hungry knowing that you can’t sit and eat in most of the restaurant is so not fair

Great place to visit

When I checked in , there was no body wash and shampoo but 2 hand wash, I got everything next day from housekeeping

Our exclusive mattress with optimal firmness point made with Viscofoam technology eliminates surface pressure on the body and regulates temperature, allowing for an incredibly restful sleep, redefining the art of wellness. Nevertheless, we lament if, due to specific circumstances, it was not possible to maintain the promise made to an extent.
