The property is beautiful, the staff are amazing but the room im very disappointed, my room is old and the bathroom is durty ,doesn't have shower gel,mold,the mini fridge doesn't work good .

We booked 2 rooms. One with a king sized bed and one with two double beds. When we got to our rooms, the double bed room actually contained a king bed and a roll away bed. We did not press the issue. The first night there, we went to book our a la carts reservations. We booked 2. The first was at the Gard b Grill. That meal went off without a hitch and the food was good. The second meal was at the Brazilian place. When we got there, they said we were not on the list. We went to the front desk (clear across the resort). They said we were on the list. After back and forth for over an hour, we finally were able to use our reservation. The food was good. The buffet area smelled awful all the time. Major plumbing issues. The food was hit and miss. On day 3 of our trip, our daughter ended up with about 60 bug bites on her legs. At first we thought it was mosquito bites, but she was the only one that had them. Coincidentally, she was also the one sleeping on the roll away. After investigation (pictures to prove), we found BED BUGS in the roll away. Hotel staff did switch her room, but refused any compensation and were very rude about our reaction to the situation. We then started seeing multiple people with multiple bug bites just like my daughter. It is not mosquitos or sand fleas, people. I would NEVER stay here again or recommend anyone else does!!

I like the service overall (concierge, room, restaurant, etc). The pools had good entertainment, sometimes we could not get towels though The food was excellent The gardens are well maintained and clean. The main restaurant buffet needs air conditioner, it is unconfortable The drinks are too sweet. Alcohol overall is poor quality The rooms could be better, cleaner. My bathtub was not cleaned in the 6 days I was there, the tile is not so clean The room service staff leave the door open while they clean so the mosquitoes enter the room, that is horrible. The closets need deep cleaning The air conditioner is not at optimum condition in the rooms, we used the fan to sleep better.

La propiedad no está al nivel de las cinco estrellas que tiene el hotel. En las habitaciones falta iluminación, los enchufes se desprenden, hay moho en la bañadera, la ducha echa agua para cualquier parte menos para abajo… en fin…

Por favor nunca vallan a a este hotel si no quieren arruinar sus vacaciones el techo del baño de la habitacion estaba callendose los toma corrientes estaban sueltos el aire no funcionaba correctamente el baño era un asco sin limpiar las toallas no las cambian el espejo del baño manchado las puertas rotas las sabanas de la cama manchadas en las instalaciones muchas cucarachas para colmo el dia de la final de copa america de argentina colombia quitaron la luz en todo hotel varias veces parece para que la gente se fueran del teatro que lo estaban trasmitiendo vamos desastroso este hotel no sirve para nada

No recomiendo el hotel . Habitaciones viejas , baños sucios y con moho . Sábanas y toallas empercudidas y hasta con huecos . Servicio a la habitación pésimo . Nunca dejaban las toallas limpias , un solo jabón y no cambiaron las sábanas en toda la semana . Dos días seguidos sin rellenar el minibar. Llamabas y te colgaban el teléfono . Las escaleras para salir de la habitación nunca las limpiaron . La comida era bastante variada y abundante . Los vasos y platos están sucios y apenas encontrabas . Si lograbas que algún camarero te atendiera quizás tenias algunas bebidas al final de la cena . Yo sé que pagan poco pero ni las propinas los embullaban hacer mejor su trabajo . El servicio de transportación estaba bastante bueno . Si va a pedir un trago que sea fuerte o cerveza. Lo demás no va a sentir ni un mareo 😂. Vi mejor el Punta Cana . No volvería . Terminamos pagando 4000 con nuestra hija en el hospital por una bacteria de algo que tomó o comió en este hotel .

We came woth 3 kids and were told that they were out of 2 bed rooms. We had been here last year at Aqua Marine and had an amazing time. Unfortunately that was not the experience we had with Bavaro. The staff was overall good with the exception of the front desk. Fortunately Evelyn was there to pick up their slack. It wasnt a bad time, but based off our prior travels, it didnt match the experience. I would absolutely recommend the Aqua Marine, as i ventured over there again thos time and was greeted with exceptional quality in friendliness and cleanliness. But there are no kids allowed there and lets be real, everyone needs a break at some point and perhaps thats the things, a sense of ease...
