just not what i expected from a RIU . Food was ok but not exceptional, can't compare to the Riu in Aruba

Customer service is excellent. All of our trips combined don't add up to the way we were taken care of at this resort.

In terrms of size, population density on the beach, quality of the beach, food, room conveniences, this is the best all-inclusive hotel I have experienced. Sure, I never tried super-expensive ones. But this one is the best for the money

Nice and clean resort. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice Hotel on the beach. The ocean is literally 1 minute walk and the waters a very calm. Very pleased with the location. On top of that beiyng an adult only it's very clean and very accommodating

I had a great time at this hotel. The pools, the beach and the food were great. I would love to come back.

Not too small, not too large. Very easy access to the beach, 3 pools - for all age groups within the adult market. Quiet if you want to rest but enough activities to be entertained day and night if you wanted to participate.

The overall experience was ok. Our a/c went out twice. It took almost all day to get it up and running. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There was mold on the shower head. Asked for it to be cleaned or changed and it never was done. The ironing board was also dirty and moldy. The staff did change it out for us. The grounds and scenery were very nice and kept clean.

Overall the hotel was good. The entertainment and food was a let down though.

The beaches were breathtaking. The wait staff went out of there way to be helpful. The rooms were very clean & the food was excellent. In my opinion, the buffet was a bit better than the specially restaurants. Had such a great time!!! Would definitely book here again

Upon arrival we were informed that our room was not ready and that we will be placed at a suit room for extra charge of almost 1 thousand dollards. The next day, management tried to charged us for the rest of our stayed at this room rate.

Upon arrival we had our passports checked. However, before the individual could finish checking he was stopped by a co-worker then he asked for ten dollars per person. It was only ten dollars but We had no clue what the ten was for.. Later we were told it was to get in the country. The rooms at Riu Palace Macao are in serious need of upgrading. They're dated. The bathroom was updated. Midway through our stay the water went thru-out the hotel. There were frequent power outages that lasted sometimes a couple of hours. The beds were super firm There were ten in our party and all ten complained about the hard mattresses. The food was horrible. Every meal was bad. Under cooked rice over cooked meats. For the amount of money spent I expected better than I received

Food was excellent and staff was courteous. However, I have been to many all-inclusives and this was mediocre. During the day, there were activities, but none of interest. There was construction going on and I could hear it in the center of the complex. I understand the improvements are underway, it was just bad timing on our part.

Loved the hotel, it's walking distance to everything. Shows every night, the food is terrific and such a variety. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the 'king size' bed in our room was more of a big 'full size' - the room was clean and all and the bathroom terrific - just not a king size bed as promised and advertised.

Great location at end of beach away from crowds such as other resorts down the beach. Another plus - adults only. I love kids but sometimes it is good to get away from the screeching be in an adults only resort. There are always free lounges at all times of day. That was not always the case in other resorts that we have stayed in the past. Food was good and there was a good variety. We preferred the buffet (Patio Restaurant) since you are able to examine prepared food before putting it on your plate. The desserts are fantastic. Plenty of day activities if one wants to participate - volleyball, archery, aerobics, yoga etc. Nightly entertainment included live music and stage shows (these could use some improvement)

Nice hotel .very clean .Staff is really nice ,we had a noise issue with our room after a few nights and the front desk moved us into a new room no questions asked. For an all inclusive resort the food was good.Just a nice time and for all you get here the price is really fair .Would definitely go back

Location was great, the staff was awesome but the hotel needs a face lift. Also the adult only part needs some lively music during the day. It was way too quiet by the pool and beach.

It was a pleasure to vacation at the Riu. Staff was amazing.

The food in the buffet and restaurants is awful. It truly is as low quality as you can get. Many of the staff there are also extremely rude. The first room they put me in had a balcony facing the terrace, which gives you zero privacy! I went back to complain and they were shocked as to why I was upset with that. Imagine walking onto your balcony to see all of the hotel guests staring at you. This place sucked. Never again.
