This was our 5th vacation to Punta Cana and our 2nd stay at Barceló Bavaro Beach. We love it so much that we plan to come back again next year. The staff are great, they seem to really enjoy us and are glad we're there.

My fiancée’s drink was drugged on her second drink at the hotel lobby bar. I brought her back to the room because she was acting weird. When we got to the room she fell on floor and had convulsions and couldn’t control her body. I had to call the doctor to come to the room, costs a few hundred dollars for them to come to the room. They couldn’t get her under control so we went by ambulance to the hospital. He hospital wanted 5500 dollars up front but never could tell me wants wrong. They tried to give her medicine without telling me what it was. She had a concussion, really easy diagnosis, the hospital wanted to give her a sonagram on her stomach. They said every medicine costs something but then wouldn’t tell me the cost until the end. They wanted to keep her over night but couldn’t tell me what was wrong with her. We asked for a blood test or urine test to see what was in her system, they stated “we don’t do those test here”. Really? This is a hospital right? We decided to leave and go back to the hotel after 780 dollar bill. We contacted management about the whole situation with photos of her bruises from convulsions, hitting her head, and spitting up. They said someone would talk to us the following morning. No one even checked up on her until we were checking out the next day and all of a sudden it was important because we were leaving two days early. When we talked to management they said it was hard to believe. There is more to this store but I can’t fit it on here.

have visited punta cana about 7 times and always stay here...gorgeous hotel and beautiful beach...food is very good also...always a great selection!

We love the whole thing they were really friendly and helpful. They had lots of selection of restaurants to eat and activities. The beach was clean and beautiful view from our room.

Great resort at perfect location. Staff was amazing the only thing I would ask for improvement on would be the in room air conditioning. Unable to control temperature so was a little warm.

First night sucked. After that Makes. Vargas in guest service took care of me and my wife.

Everything was excellent. People and staff are the friendliest I've ever had. Service was great. Place looked exactly out of a magazine. The food was ok. Not the greatest.

Amazing food. Great staff rooms need updated a bit but were very clean would definitely return and recommend

Hotel was very old and not updated. Buffet food was less than subpar. Worth it to stay at a more upscale property.

Nice hotel, my room had a small mold spot on the ceiling and our ceiling fan didn’t work. However it was clean, and the staff friendly. Breakfast and lunch was better than most dinnners but that might only be a matter of personal preference. One side note, the swim up pool bar is NOT at the adults only resort (which I thought odd) you must take the trolley to the family resort for this feature.

Beautiful place, fantastic facilities. Food choices could be better...crispy tacos, baked potato bar, Iced Tea...Buffet restaurant staff not too friendly or attentive...stood around visiting with each other instead of serving our drinks...Rooms were very clean & room cleaning staff were awesome!! Very friendly!! Loved the all adult atmosphere! Will definitely go back!!

Beautiful place! Alot of fun. Very clean. Food is great. Restaurants are amazing. Staff is friendly. Beach is beautiful. Alot of immenities are at the sister resort, the palace which is next door and accessible by trolley. Overall a great and fun stay.

I booked the premium level and it was worth every penny.

Really nice all inclusive resort. Entertainment was amazing! Cantbwait to come back.

Nice staff. Good food. Great spot. only recommendation would be to have a pool open late night.
