The room was spacious and has everything you need! I came here with my husband to celebrate my birthday and Kevin helped him surprised me with a delicious cake at dinner and when we got back to our room it was decorated with balloons, and a bottle of champagne. Daury, chef Henry, Aneury, Natanael, Victor and Jose Carlos were all amazing. All the staff here treat you well and are all great. Can’t wait to come back!

Mi cuarto estuve excelente. Maria la que hace los smoothie hizo un buen servicio, los animadores muy excelente, David Jiménez(guineo) estuvo súper también muy chévere el chico, se destacó. Kevin Paulino-deben darle sus estrellas ya que también se portó muy bien y fue uno de los mejores. Alexander Tavares, Miguel de las maletas entre otro chicos fueron excelente, tienen un equipo en estas personas que se esmeran en hacer un buen trabajo con mucha humildad. De verdad fue mi primera vez quedándome en este resort y no será mi última vez. Volvería por ellos porque me tramaron muy pero muy bien. Dios los bendiga a todos!

We had a great stay at Ocean El Beso in Punta Cana! The resort was clean, beautiful and spacious - there were a lot of other guests, but never felt over crowded. The food exceeded our expectations, and we loved all of the different options available (especially our daily stop at Mike’s Cafe!). Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed our private rooftop patio - and was an added bonus to see & hear the ocean from our room. José Miguel Jiménez was our personal concierge for our stay, he was so helpful and quick to answer any questions or requests that we had. We really appreciated his efforts to make our stay enjoyable & memorable. We spent most of our days at the “quieter” pool - the pool was refreshing with lots of space to swim & the pool bar staff was very friendly! The only downside to our stay was feeling like there was limited poolside chairs & cabanas available because people would leave their things, claiming a spot, but then leave the pool area for hours (but that happens everywhere). While we didn’t swim in the ocean, we enjoyed our day spent at the beach - lots of space and lounge chairs available, and loved that it was a short walk from the rest of the resort. We would definitely recommend Ocean El Beso to friends looking to travel to Punta Cana & are overall very happy with our stay at this resort :)

Giving this a 4.5 as an all inclusive. The entire trip was excellent. From check in with Joel (excellent service) to check out with Joel, we enjoyed the trip so much. Jose Miguel was our butler and he was great! I recommend the privilege as the lounge and upgrades are fully worth it. I would go back for sure (we are in Jan). We ended up upgrading to Ocean Front room and with Privilege. I don’t love a sales pitch and they didn’t bug us or push us when we said no to attend their daily sales pitch. Very Comfortable beds Clean and beautifully designed spaces Lobby bar at the main part of the resort is amazing. Nice beach (lagoon on the side of the resort is excellent and calm) Adults only side is great. The pool bar drinks are meh. Quiet pool is very nice. I would suggest they add the privilege section to that pool vs the more busy louder pool. We have food allergies and loved the attention to detail on this. The wine list is good. Would prefer is better wine is severed in general. Das Pez for lunch is excellent. Their veggie options could use a bean dish or tofu. Katherine Italian was amazing Miguel breakfast remembered our drunk orders and brought them to use daily when he saw us. Migel lunch was a really nice touch. Carmen lunch das pezwas great and made amazing mojitos. Melvin also helped at lunch and dinner at the Mexican. We had a rooftop suite in el Beso. The suite was huge and very nice. The building itself is in need of some repairs in a minor way, rusting metal our stairway (in our suite) handrail was loose and rickety needs to be reattached, safe barely worked. Nothing that affected our vacation experience. We were treated Very, Very well by our concierge Kevin Paulino who bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for us. He made our dinner reservations every time I asked and had a repair done on our jacuzzi very quickly! He treated us like royalty and showed up to meet us in person on a couple of occasions. We have Never been catered to so much or attended to so well by a consierge at any resort! We have stayed at one every year for the past 18 years. We were not aware we would have a concierge before we got there. We were not privilege guests. We stayed at El Beso, adult only. Kevin was excellent. I will add on a side note that I got slightly sick a couple days before we left and it got worse by the time we flew home. Montzumas revenge , which I haven’t had for at least 14 years despite travelling to Mexico every year. I would go back to this resort again.

Our butler Kevin Paulino was the best! Spoke great English was very helpful when we needed things. Resort was very nice and clean! Everyone was friendly! Raymond at the hibachi grill was awesome! Best meal we had there!

The worst experience ever. Do not come here. I’ve been to many 5 star resorts and this did not feel 5 star at all. Me and my husband have been to majestic elegance and Catalonia in costa mujeres Mexico and it is night and day. We’ve also been to the mora in Zanzibar and all of these places surpass this place exceptionally! I’ve always heard the resorts in DR aren’t as good as Mexico but the beaches are better, but the beach is filled with seaweed and not nearly as nice either. To start, the room was dirty and the finishings are done very poorly. When they would come clean our room we would either come back to find our front door open, only the bed was made, and the washrooms not cleaned. There was a coffee spill on the floor that was not cleaned either. Other days the cleaners would come at almost 5 so we would be back in the room from tanning and swimming for the day and want to shower and get ready and would have to wait on the balcony. Oh and they don’t clean the balcony. Anytime we would ask for a towel or tissues when they’d come to clean and we were here, they would say they don’t have any. They are always running out of things. The service is the absolute worst! Almost everyone (i don’t want to say everyone) was so rude and unwelcoming! The food is also horrible!! They serve the same quality food and sometimes same food in the buffet as the restaurants. Everything is a money grab! All the game rooms you see you need to pay for. It starts at $5usd for 3 tokens.

Our stay at Ocean El Faro was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to Kevin Paulino, our Guest Service Specialist. From the moment we arrived, Kevin went above and beyond for us. He arranged all of our restaurant reservations seamlessly, making every night stress-free and perfectly planned. What really stood out was how genuinely caring and attentive he was—he even invited us to a beautiful dinner with a beach after-party, which became one of the highlights of our trip. His warmth, professionalism, and dedication made us feel truly taken care of throughout our entire stay. Kevin made our experience at Ocean El Faro even better, and we are so grateful for him. Very clean and well kept resort. Workers were always cleaning or doing maintenance. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be better is the food. Also, room service is very minimal and not enough options. It would be nice to be able to order drinks to your room. If you’re on the el beso side try Pez Dema, best food on the entire resort. Would love to come back here!

We booked here for a week and ended up only staying one night and headed to another resort because this place was so bad. We got catfished by the beautiful photos of the place! Everything in our room was either broken or dirty and the room smelled. We were offered other rooms but didn't feel good about staying. It seemed like throughout the resort things were cheaply put together and not maintained well. We ate one dinner that was good, but had a burger from a snack stand that was the worst I've ever had. The patty was overcooked and guac was nasty and many others at the stand were receiving incorrect orders. The manager we worked with was very helpful and helped us get our money back, but every other staff member we interacted with was not helpful. At one point, a bellhop was lounging on a chair and vaping in front of us. I would NOT recommend coming here.

Had a good time. I went for my 40th birthday with a female friend. First time out of the USA and didn’t want to go alone to another country. Check In wasn’t that great. The bellhop took her bag and put it in a room that said Staff Only, so she got Paranoid about that, because there were 2 separate couples in front of us waiting to check in and they had their bags with them. I booked 2 months in advance and ordered 2 BEDS. (We’re both grown, if she or myself met somebody while we were out and wanted to bring them back, then) But, the guy at the front counter gave us 1 bed and said that’s all they had when I even showed him my reservation from my phone, so we shared the bed. We got a personal “Butler” his job was to make dinner reservations for us and any outings you want to take. Jose was awesome. Plenty of food and drinks and snacks to choose from, you won’t go hungry. Do not order the “Stake” very fatty and Chewy, plus they don’t have Stake Knives on the property, you’ll have to cut it with a regular Butter Knife. Also, you are able to read the menu of your restaurant online before you go. Be careful, because they will offer something else then what’s listed. And no pictures. Staff was welcoming, friendly, always willing to answer any questions you may have, happy to show you around, and take care of you. Other then that, we had a good time. I would come back again. Honest review: We were here for our honeymoon and birthdays and stayed on the el beso side. Nov 13-20. We were not privilege or members, just regulars. And no was not payed to write this, just thought it might help some. Pros: ✅Lazy river (recommend bringing your own floats) As much as you try to avoid getting wet, you’ll get soaked in some spots. Great to cool off in. Is a circle so you can just keep going or get off at the pool bar. ✅Market sellers (found they didn’t hassle much) Was able to use Canadian dollars too. Just think it’s a bit of a hassle for them to exchange but they’ll take it. ✅Adult pool- party pool. So many activities and the blue team was a hype. ✅Japanese Resturant (was neat seeing them make dinner and entertain) ✅Italian Resturant (amazing chicken parm and cannolis) Also cool they have a wine and ceaser salad cart that comes around to the tables. ✅ Wednesday dinner buffet at El Marcado (All). Had Mexican. So many options! ✅ Ocean burger. Had the Mexican burger. ✅ Fish fingers at the Pez Dama. Jerk chicken for dinner was good too. ✅ Mikes coffee 🙌🙌 their breakfast breads are great too. ✅ Icecream place yummm ✅ Staff: Shoutout to butler Jose Miguel! ✅ Other tourists. Found it so neat to see so many different people from all over the world. Used to traveling to Mexico and only seeing Americans/Fellow Canadians ✅ Drinks: Great. Try the passion fruit margarita. Had at the adult pool 🙌
