The hotel was beautiful. Would appraise if they can include transfer to the hotel from the airport. We called a few days before and they wanted to charge us $220, when we got an Uber for $35. Hotel is as new. We were greeted with champagne and did the check in in the Finest members area. Room was not ready upon check in (which was around noon) when they did ask us our incoming flight information in advance. Room was clean and everything worked perfectly. Service was amazing. Super friendly and always willing to help. Over the weekend the hotel gets crowded and the service and food quality is not the best. In the beach restaurant we had to wait for more than an hour for a lobster and in the meat restaurant we were served food that was super cold. Besides that, the restaurants were great. We enjoyed the buffet, Gusto (the Tomahawk is a must try) and Shoji. Spa is super nice. Though prices are international- around $200 for an hour massage.

This was a very nice all inclusive for families that still want some refinement. They do a good job of balancing the two. You definitely know there are kids but there are plenty of things to do and they do a nice job with entertainment. The adults only Excellence next door is the way to go with no kids. Great vibe over there. Weather wasn't great while we were there but the resort did everything they could to entertain. Property is very nice. Service was very good and the staff was all very nice and accommodating. House keeping was on point, good room service and very nice turn down service. Spa was excellent, Food was decent to good. There were plenty of options. Plenty of bars for good quality beverages. Great Coffee/desert shop. Don't go to an all inclusive if you are looking for a five star culinary experience. That should be a rule of thumb. If you are looking for a very nice all inclusive property/experience in Punta Cana, Finest/Excellence should be on the list. If I was going to be critical at all and it could be a positive for many, the resort is newer and comes across a little more sterile and less island vibe. I'd call it casual chic as opposed to something with a lot of charm/character.

My family went to this resort in September because we fell in love with our experience at the Finest in Mexico. We heard this was a newer resort and decided to check it out. Check-in was not perfect. They rushed it and didn't show us the entire resort. When we got in our room we found clear broken glass on the floor and that is definitely not safe for kids. I told the front desk about the broken glass and all they did was say sorry and did not offer to come clean it up. I had asked for a crib and they brought packnplays instead what looked moldy. I had asked them to be removed from the room which took them 3 days to do. Our room had a broken toilet and a steamer. They advertised to have baby purees available on the website. We asked 3 servers at different times at the same restaurant when we were out for lunch for some baby puree they all looked confused walked away and never came back. We got up to ask the host for baby puree as well and she had no idea what we were taking about. Next, the food was horrible. They over cooked the lobster and pushed for so many types of rice dishes and buffets. Drinks were sugary and watered. Workers at the coffee shop talk about you in spanish. The childrens park is very unsafe. My sons swim shorts went missing from our room. Front desk didnt do anything about it and wont respond to emails.
Room was perfect. Exceeded expectations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Entire resort was very well maintained and clean.

Everything was very nice. The resort is beautiful and the food is very good. Everyone is very nice and polite and always say Hello. Guillermo and Felix were the absolute best!! Would definitely go back.

We had a phenomenal time at the Finest Punta Cana, D.R. Everything was Excellent from the time we arrived it has been the best experience. The property was amazing and the staffs were very attentive and made us feel welcomed! I would have given it 10 for over all stars! It was excellent! We can’t wait to go back soon!
I was there for 5 days and I finally had to calm the front desk to get the cleaned. The food was mediocre at best. The property is beautiful and the staff and service of all other employees was excellent

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel areas and the rooms. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were great. The rooms were quiet and spacious. We would've liked more local music available and more dancing venues at night
Everything was great Except some of the restaurant's Clearly legends needs help When you order a salad and it has no greens and is just grilled onions and tomatoes it’s not a salad.
