A True Sanctuary in Every Sense — 10/10 Our recent stay was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the property — But as stunning as the resort is, what truly made this trip unforgettable was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and I can honestly say the customer service at Sanctuary is second to none. Every single person we encountered was kind, warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, the property was gorgeous. The architecture was breathtaking, including the castle. Overall, the staff was nice and accommodating. The seaweed was piled up on the beach so you did not have access to the water. But would definitely recommend if that is not something that is important to you for your vacation.

This was our first time at Sanctuary Cap Cana and we loved it. This property is huge and everything is very well maintained. Our room was just fantastic and so comfortable. The pools and swim up bar were so inviting and friendly. If you get a chance get Kaila to set up your lounging area and Oscar to be your drink waiter. Both are superb and will take great care of you. Overall everyone was so friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be going back.

El hotel es precioso, realmente aprecias la naturaleza y la hermosa arquitectura. La habitacion era espaciosa y comoda con una vista increible. El servicio de mayordomo del castillo es una gran ventaja. Tiene varios espacios y piacinas para pasar el dia desde mas tranquilos a otros con actividades. Estas opciones permiten que disfrutes justo de lo que necesitas en este viaje. The resort is fantastic! The restaurants offer great food variety, drinks are great at all bars and restaurants, the pools are all very nice, the gym and spa are awesome too. Rooms and bathrooms are all very nice, luxurious with lots of space. This is the perfect place to relax. With all that said, what stood out to me the most are the employees. They are focused 100% on the guests, making sure you have a great experience all around the resort. Highly recommend it!!!

I had high hopes for Sanctuary Cap Cana, but unfortunately, the reality fell far short of the luxury promise. From the moment we entered our room, it was clear something was off. The air was muggy, and there was an unpleasant mold-like odor that lingered throughout our stay. Cleanliness was below expectations—our beds looked hastily made and didn’t feel fresh at all. Despite booking the all-inclusive package, surprise charges cropped up. I was billed $5 USD for a pizza box and another $5 for a Perrier water,also add $10 everytime you order room service, hardly what I’d call "all-inclusive". What’s worse, the service lacked the warmth typical of Caribbean hospitality. Staff rarely greeted guests, and basic courtesies like “good morning” seemed optional. The biggest letdown? The beach was completely covered in seaweed, rendering it unusable. No prior notice, no heads-up from the hotel—just a disappointing sight and restricted access to one of the main draws of the property. Sanctuary Cap Cana may boast impressive photos and luxury branding, but my stay felt more like a missed opportunity than a tropical retreat.

The staff is what truly made our experience wonderful. Each person was attentive and kind with amazing personalities. This place is definitely a do over and can’t wait to experience it all again!

Excellent stay! Staff especially professional and congenial. Food was varied and delicious. Music at main pool gets a little loud, but only during exercise hour. Beach off limits due to seaweed but otherwise a fabulous and relaxing week.

I stayed from 7/2 thru 7/05. The hotel is beautiful; is very peaceful and quite. The staff is very attentive. Downside long wait to eat at the specialty restaurant; there’s no buffet for dinner on a daily only basis; I was very disappointed when i got to the beach and found out it was close due to seaweed season. I think it should be communicate to the customer in Advance so you’re not surprise and can make your decision before heading out.
