The cenotes are extraordinary natural formations of crystal clear water connected by a network of underground rivers.
In these paradises you will live an unforgettable experience while you relax, swim and enjoy these natural wonders.
Playa del Carmen is very popular for its turquoise waters and relaxed atmosphere. You can also visit its Fifth Avenue that is pedestrian and its hotel zone called Playacar, which is where the highest category hotels are located.
Tulum is a walled Maya city, but it is not only ruins and archeology, it also has a beautiful beach with turquoise waters, white sands and to the west there are several cenotes.

Run away as fast as you can!!

We rented this property and got confirmation that all was well. We showed up in Mexico with 4 kids and 4 adults and the owner wouldn’t answer our messages to get the combo to open up. We Called many times and finally had to call VRBO directly. They said they would help us contact the host. They did and the host had rented it already but took our money anyway! Then VRBO said they would help us find a place but we spent 2 hours on the phone with 5 agents and they basically said they can’t find anything so we can book someone ourselves and try to send them the receipt and maybe they could get it approved to be reimbursed! THEN they sent us more links to book but we would have to wait 25 hours for a new host to confirm! So we had to spend a fortune 4x the original amount and find someplace to stay with our kids in the middle of the night in another country. I can net tell you enough to RUN AWAY and VRBO will absolutely leave your stranded even with children!
