Cool property. Restored historical building so if you like that kind of feel, you will love this property.

Great hotel and staff. Rooms are beautiful. 10/10

Absolutely beautiful hotel, clean and a step back in time!

great hygiene, serious attention paid to the Covid - 19 issue, delightful staff

I like the historic value of this property, the staff and the location (with exception). Located close to the center of downtown, within walking distance of trendy bars and restaurants, this quaint older property suffers a little from its proximity to the YMCA and the effects of homeless people panhandling. Combined with the "corona effect" this results in a total lock-down of the building during the day at times and more predominately during the evening. So you have to call the front to get someone to open the front door. I understand this is a safety issue and once they get back to full staff things will be better. Still a great place to stay!

This hotel is probably fine if you are in town for business and planning to be up by 5am, but otherwise, go definitely somewhere else and save your money. It's pretty inside, but the street noise is horrible. The windows don't keep any noise out and there were non-stop sirens all night and garbage trucks, and there were two hotel evacuations in the 11 hours we were there due to false alarms. The customer service was pretty bad. And the basement of the hotel which we had to go through during the two evacuations was filthy.

we had a great time at this hotel and we had a great time. the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that someone was in our room while we went out for the day. I have my own cleaning business so i did not ask for room service while i was there which means nobody should have been in my room. I knoe someone was in my room bc when we returned our window was shut and locked and I need fresh air circulating. Other than that our stay was amazing.

Everything was terrific except for the noisy people next to us that played music and were partying until 4 am. Very hard to sleep through all the noise.

first they gave me the wrong key card to my room. Not a big deal. The next day I noticed an additional charge to my card, to which there was no explanation or help even though it states the charge was from the hotel. I had to cancel my card at the bank and now wait for a new one... It has caused a headache because it has cost me money and time with my travel without access to my account

Great renovations, good xmas decorating , easy access to city and university

Enjoyed our brief staying while visiting colleges. Charming old world hotel that's been nicely updated. Felt like a step back in time in the nicest of ways. Service is very friendly and accomadating. Especially appreciated the great restaurant recommendation of Dino - the best barbeque! Also appreciated the package deal with breakfast. Just wish they didn't charge extra for parking. Would definitely stay here again.
