Staff was extremely helpful! Lobby could be cleaner, more towels in double rooms needed

Front desk sent me to the wrong part of building. They need to know where thier own rooms are. A request for “four glasses got me four robes’. Some areas of the room were a bit beat up. Table top wood splitting. Come on, I was in an expensive suite. Upscale hotel, higher price rooms, please keep up with yourselves.

I loved my experience at this hote came here for leisure and relax it was perfect t clean. A fridge full of beverages and snacks they was a bit pricy so we didn’t get any but it was def a plus there’s a large tub and a balcony

Amazing! Daniel was the best! Beautiful hotel! Thank you

great hotel, friendly hotel staff but please do something about your beach club staff they are very rude and unproffesional.

We stayed at Dream Downtown for 2 nights. Initially we had a room facing 16th St and were kept awake all night with City Waste trucks going in and out of the facility opposite. In the morning, Marwan at the front desk was very apologetic and promptly moved us to another much quieter room (thank you Marwan!). Later Elizabeth (food and beverage mgr) took time away from her lunch to show us the Union Jack couch in the nightclub (we're too old to actually go to the club!!), and Manny was very attentive and helpful in general and with getting us cabs. We stay in NYC often and have been to a lot of different hotels, but by far the staff at Dream Downtown were the most pleasant and helpful. Marwan, Elizabeth and Manny provided exceptional service and we thank them for making our experience a positive one.

I loved staying st Dream Downtown. It’s a cute, chic hotel that is in prime location. Perfect stay for a 20 something girls weekend tailored to partying. If you want a quiet stay, this place might not be for you. I will definitely be staying here again.

Pros: Clean room and great location. The staff are very friendly. I was waken up at 4am by noises outside, and then the staff upgraded my room for free. Cons: There is little difference between the rooms w/ and w/o balcony view, since there is almost no view from balcony. Besides, there can be some truck at night making noises.

I love to stay here. It was really convenient for my meeting.

Angela is the MOST amazing hotel staffer I have ever had the pleasure to meet! Wow, incredible - give the girl a raise!!

I definitely booked my stay at this hotel for aesthetic reasons and the location. While it was pretty and in a super location for what we wanted there was a lot left to be desired. Our 'early check-in' was a whopping 45min before regular check-in, they honestly just shouldn't offer it if that's the result. Our room did not feature a useable refrigerator, a bathroom fan (which made the entire room fill with steam), or an ice bucket (or any close access to ice). The staff there were pretentious and provided the minimal amount of assistance required.

Business travel with a nice rooftop bar tucked into a hip neighborhood.

We arrived about 12 hours late due to weather delays and an inability to postpone our trip (ps DO NOT purchase Orbitz trip insurance. It doesn’t help in emergency situations once you are day of a trip). Angela was working the front desk, and was beyond helpful and kind. Our luggage was not put on the plane, and so we had no clothes or toiletries. She gave us free toothbrushes, toothpaste, and pretty much anything we could ask for. The staff even brought our bags up when they arrived the next day. It is more of a party hotel in the lobby areas. But the rooms are quiet, and amazing views of the city. Also, the use of space for the square footage is amazing. The shower and rainforest head is worth the cost alone. Highly recommend.

Nightclub upstairs with views. Nearby restaurants and nightlife. Good location.

1. No hair dryer in the room - for a $400 a night hotel wouldn't you think there would at least be a hair dryer?!!!! 2. Ironing board - dirty, tiny, looks about 20 years old 3. Room is insanely small - can't move around 4. Only put one bathrobe in the closet even though we said two guests are staying 5. Charged us for room service that we never even saw, ate, were notified about etc etc Absolutely awful for the price. The lady at the front desk looked like she hated her life and wanted to murder everyone around her

If you want a Vegas situation, stay at the Dream. Classy doesn't apply here, as the "artsy" photos of Gigi Hadid on the wall clearly scream. Or the exact same painting from Gossip Girl in every hotel room. The staff are nice enough, though we had some issues with getting luggage back in a timely manner. You basically have to be hot as all hell to be treated well here, especially at PHD. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are pretty nice, but the hotel just isn't my cup of tea, it may be yours though. If you're looking for a faux New York experience where sexism is alive and well, stay at the Dream
