Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

From our arrival to our departure, everything was spot on at the Seneca Resort and Casino, Niagara Falls, NY. Every employee that we encountered during our stay seemed to genuinely appreciate our being there. We ate at multiple restaurants and the food and service always met our expectations. We took the short stroll down Old Falls Street to see the Falls 3 times. We didn't have a view of the Falls from our room on the 5th floor, but the closeness to the Falls and the outstanding facilities made this a trip we will long remember. Should we visit Niagara Falls again, we will surely stay at this Resort, but try to get a room on a much higher floor.

From the moment you walk into this hotel you are going to experience a strong tobacco smell no matter where you are. From the lobby to your room, everything has strong tobacco smell

Spacious rooms, good food, good service, good security

I love Seneca hotel casino . I will be back soon.

You'll love this hotel if you are smoker. You don't have to smoke to get a kick! Just step out of your room and you'll be welcomed with the smell every where. The staff seemed to be arrogant and serving their "regulars" more pleasing than treating everyone on par. Remember to purchase a "Priority Parking" option or be one of their "VIP"s to cut the line for Valet Parking or else be prepared to wait in line for the "favor". If you are an aggressive rich person, this may be a good option for you. If you are kind, honest, humble, other options may be better. However, not all is so bad as it sounds. The view is great among all other options on the US side of the falls.

We had booked this hotel with lot of expectation seeing high rating. I had booked this hotel for a weekend at niagara with my family. Hotel is near to Niagara falls and it is in 8-10 mins walking distance. Its is one of the largest buildings in American side of Niagara falls. There are few food options with in the hotel but didn't try many to comment about it. Even though we had booked a non-smoking room, there was cigarette smell inside the room(I had read similar reviews before booking but didn't expect it inside a non-smoking room). Beds were not comfy like normal hotel beds. Air conditioning inside room was not functioning well, even though the thermostat showing 68 as room temperature (Also tried to change it to a lower temperature which didn't help. It was too late (after 1AM) and didn't bother to call maintenance as it will be a disturbance to my aged parents. They do charge a resort fee or something ($20) which is additional to the booked price. Overall, this place may be good if you don't care cigarette smell, want to hangout in casino and chill in bar/restaurant etc. But, will not recommend for family with kids and aged parents.

Played in casino. There are lots of slots and drinks were complimentary. Food at the three sisters restaurant was excellent. Hotel not far from Niagara Falls state park. We went on the Maid of the Mist which is a must do...better than any amusement ride. Also took some awesome pics from the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone was so nice and courteous. Loved everything about our visit.

awesome experience for the whole family would stay again

The hotel did not offer a good buffet restaurant and they charged me an extra $20 fee when I checked out just because their policy.

Hotel is great although the back door and hall look a little odd when you first arrive, the rooms, pool, and gym are all wonderful and to top it all off, its a short walk to the falls

Perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from the falls and wonderful ambiance.

Lovely, spacious, comfortable room with a view. Appreciated early check in. Staff at front desk very helpful. Hope we can make another visit.

The queen deluxe room was not queen at all. The beds were full size mattresses. They were also like sleeping in concrete. One bed wasn't made up correctly as the sheet came off as i preled back the blankets, revealing some nasty stains on both the mattress and conforter. The ac didnt cool and this was on a cool outside evening.

this was a great place for our one night get away for our anniversary! our room was amazing amd all of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. with the casino, bars, and restaurants we didn't even have to leave the building to have a great time. I highly recommend their steakhouse, The Western Door!

Was charged TWICE on resort fees $60 ($30/night) during check-in & $20 per day at check out. Taxes at 16 is too high compared to other cities.

Hotel was nice, room very spacious.. Only negative is the hallways smelled very smoky, even on a non-smoking floor.

Very close to Canada and in walking distance to the Falls. Very nice experience!

It is a wonderful trip. The location is good. Just 5 minutes walk to the Falls. Excellent. Will be back!

Since it was located in a casino, it is inevitable there would be smoking everywhere. As a result, as you walk around the general hotel area and even along corridors/hallway (we stayed on the 6th floor), there's smell of cigarettes. Since I was already expecting this, it wasn't a surprise. At least rooms didn't reek of smoke. On the plus side of staying in this hotel, it is reasonably close to the American side of the falls. I would say within 10 mins walking. The other bigger hotels are also about the same distance. If you stay in smaller chain hotel/motel, you could be within 5 mins walk. Another plus is free parking as well. Though valet is free, I didn't use it since it would also cost me the same $5 in tips for the attendant. Parking lot is just across the street. So, it is no big deal to park on your own. Also, it is nice to see 2 queen size bed available. Free wifi is included. On the negatives: 1. No free breakfast. Seeing this is a casino, I'm surprised they didn't just throw in a free breakfast for guests. It was about $250/night. I think they can afford a warm breakfast for guests 2. Though bathroom was quite large, the shower water pressure was pathetic. It is always like watering plants from a water can. The sink faucet was full of pressure, but not the shower. Also, the toilet lever gets stuck each time you flush 3. No free water bottles in room. Instead, 2 bottles with a note saying enjoy our specially bottled Seneca water bottle for $2 each. Come on. I can buy a case of 40 bottles from Costco for $3.50. How can a hotel be so cheap as to charge $2/bottle in room?

Absolutely everything was first class! Beautiful room, nice service, fluffy towels, the works!
