Less than my expectations Very old hotel and so crowded

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar and decent food.

After paying over $700 for a 3 night stay. Room had no microwave, there were multiple food trays that sat in the hallways for the entire day that smelled. Upon arriving to hotel after hanging in the city for the day, we would have to sit outside waiting for someone to leave to get a parking spot. I’ve been to other other hotels cheaper than this one, with better rooms, cleaner and more convenient.

Very conveniently located near the jfk airport, comfortable stay in hotel, free wifi. Wish the parking situation is better, really limited parking space, ended up parking along side hotel’s outside wall by the gate. Sound Insulation would be better since it’s close to the highway.

We stayed a night before an early flight from JFK. Hotel was conveniently located. Shuttle was on time. Rooms were a bit "cramp" but it was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Everything was great except when you first enter the hotel, the entrance looked like a makeshift prop from a play instead of the grandeur I was expecting. I looked everywhere outside for a front entrance like the one in the picture, but that entrance does not exist....everything else was superb!

The room itself was cold and not enough blankets. Maybe could have asked for more but it shouldn’t be necessary in the first place.

The coffee maker was dusty, the linen, including towels had an unbearable odor and the utensils were dirty.

The hotel was super busy. The room seemed clean but there was a prior guests underwear still hanging in the room. That tells me that it wasnt properly cleaned.

Was fine for an overnight airport stay. Had a room on the first floor that would be s challenge for Lewis & Clark to find and no heads up on the odd location at check in

Airport hotels in general are nothing extravagant, and this Crowne Plaza is in that group. It has what you need for a layover night- clean rooms, a decent if not great restaurant and bar, and a shuttle to the airport. However, the service aspect of this hotel, particularly the front desk, is lacking. We stayed two separate nights, one outbound overseas and one returning. Both times, there was 1-2 people maximum working check in and check out. There were flight crews coming and going, as well as presumably layover passengers like us. The waits were ridiculous. The front desk staff was almost lethargic and completely cold. NO welcome, no smile, no sign of caring. Several times during our stays I went to the front desk to ask a question about stores nearby, etc. No sign of the “concierge”, ever! The front desk was also noticeably vacant. Once, me and two gentlemen stood looking at each other for 5 minutes; one of the other two walked behind the desk to the divider that separates the front desk from what I guess is a work area. I heard him say, “can anyone help us out here”? He then came out and said there were 2-3 people just “hanging out” back there. Finally one came out. Only one. People just started tossing room keys on the desk saying “I have to leave for my flight” when the shuttle announced it was leaving. This could be a nice place to layover and meet the usual airport hotel needs, but given the lethargy of the staff I'll try a different place.

We arrived at check-in and the lady checking us in had a British accent, she was clearly anti-semitic, first giving us issues checking in and giving us complete attitude. After checkout, I asked her to check us out and she took the card and said OK... Hours later when I was on the plane I called again and asked if I was checked out and the gentlemen said I was not which I think is extremely unprofessional

I usually stay down to the Hilton jfk airport hotel down the street. But I thought I give another hotel a try. The staff was ok. But I didn't feel a welcome as I do from the other hotel. We went for breakfast the 1st day. And my husband doesn't eat processed eggs. So they was nice enough to make him a friend egg instead. The service as to cleaning the room was low class. Behind and around lamp shade in room was caked with dust. That I used to look at when I would lay in bed. My experience wasn't what I was hoping for.
