It smells like cigarettes even though you can’t smoke inside. I thought it was better

The first impression of the lobby was it was stark and not very clean. Then I got into my room and the floors were slick (like the mop had been used to clean up grease and then not cleaned well). At night I tried to go find the rooftop terrace that was advertise as an amenity but could not find the entrance to the terrace. In the morning I tried to go get breakfast that was listed as included in the stay. I saw a sign saying that the breakfast room was shut down for Covid. I also asked some of the cleaning staff where I could find the entrance to the terrace and they said that it wasn't available.

It was about a 10 min walk to the nearest subway. The neighbourhood was not noisy. No breakfast was served. Cleanliness is ok but can be improved.

Too little

Nice and new hotel

Some thugs was playing loud music all night. I had to call the front desk but they were still playing m

Everything about it was good. I would go back there again

Absolutely love this place! Clean and awesome staff

cleaning is bad, sheets are mostly dirty, location is bad, breakfast is very weak

Just a visitor. But I was very comfortable... Didn't have any issues. If I did, I'll let you know later

Great location, modern look. Only a 25 minute walk/ride to Midtown

Good place to stay , very nice location , friendly front desk and breakfast was good

A great little place in Long Island City. I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews and it’s location near the Queensboro bridge. I mistakenly thought I’d be able to quickly shoot over to my Aunt’s place on 55th and 1st. (I failed to realize that since it’s one of the few ways into Manhattan without a toll that the traffic would be terrible) Anyway the Nirvana had a small but very clean room, a marble bathroom, a firm mattress, and a properly functioning heating unit. With taxes and all fees I paid $141.19 through Orbitz. I had actually called the hotel to see if I could get a better rate directly but the extremely polite desk man said the internet price was the same as he could offer. One great feature is that just about a block away is a wonderful pizza parlor that stays open late. I had a couple of great classic NY slices and a good nights sleep. Heaven

clean, short walk to F train; neighborhood NOT gentrified part of Long Island City, contrary to other reviews, I thought their was ample sitting in the breakfast room, typical good enough continental breakfast, I'd stay again for easy enough access to Manhattan and Roosevelt Island

Hotel Nirvana was a budget hotel. For a low price it is fine, but there are many other hotels in the area that I would recommend over this one. Location - fine, close to transit and getting into the city, but in a sketchier part of town Cleanliness- hotel was clean, but definitely old linens Noise - very noisy, was hard to sleep. Area itself is quiet, but walls are paper thin. We could hear everything in the hallway, including every elevator ding like it was happening right next to us (our room was far from the elevator). Could hardly sleep due to all of the noise. Bathroom - good Bed - firm, wasn’t that comfortable Breakfast - terrible, would recommend skipping. No fresh foods like fruit or vegetables (ironically, aside from the pictures on the wall in the breakfast room). Stale bread/bagels, donuts etc. Overall would recommend staying somewhere else if you can afford it. If you can’t, this place is fine.
