Perfect location. Clean hotel and room was a good size. Hot water was an issue. Even watching tv costs extra and WiFi was not great. But would stay there again.

Prompt check-in, pleased with our room accommodations, very comfortable, clean and a nice view (king deluxe w/view). Our bathroom was a little small and had limited counter space for getting ready but it was manageable. Nice patisserie next door that was convenient for breakfast and we generally loved the location and neighborhood. Overall was a very pleasant stay!

The location is good. The facility is old and needs renovation.

The hotel gave me an extra hour to stay longer considering my flight schedule. The staff was nice, view (city view) was cute, and the design of the hotel was beautiful. I would love to come back.

We liked the hotel, but the elevator situation is terrible. Only 2 4-person elevators working, and the staff uses one of the regularly!

We chose the hotel because of the proximity to The Beacon Theater. It is a beautiful older building with history however the rooms do need some updating as well as the elevators but they are currently in the process of doing so...

The location can't be beat. Staff was very nice. The bed was decent. The room was small, which is to be expected in a NYC hotel, but there was no comfortable chair, and the cushioned part of the headboard was too high up to be of use. It was decorative only. So the room was uncomfortable and a little dark. Depressing to spend much time in. There were plenty of usb charging stations in the room, but none at the desk. There was mildew in the shower grout. The towels were scratchy. There was shampoo but no conditioner on the first day. For the money, I think I'll look elsewhere next time.

Pretty nice hotel considering the price and location, definitely a cut above all the others I've stayed in that area. It was nearly impossible to control water temperature in the shower (scalding or freezing), otherwise truly a great value in that area.

not all the rooms are renovated and those that are not can sometimes have a mildew whiff. The hotel told me they had upgraded me to a city view room but it was on a high floor and i prefer a low one. the room I got when I arrived at 1:30 in the morning was depressing and small and they upgraded me to a suite, though that was not at all as modern and cheery as other rooms that I stayed in. the staff was friendly but I stay here often and am now keeping a list of the rooms i prefer. Some of those, however, are more expensive than standard rooms

Very small rooms. Staff was courteous and friendly but told me there were no rollaway beds. Then when I was leaving, I heard him offer one to another guest. Also, the “flat rate” airport transport was two different rates. A lower one for my father. A higher rate for me. Hmmm!?

The AC was too loud. Wifi doesn't work. Other than that, it's a good hotel for a short stay in NYC.
