Great location in the upper west side. Right off the 1,2,3 lines and easy access around the city. Good restaurants in neighborhood and extremely friendly and helfpful staff! Will definitely stay again!

The hotel was conveniently located within reasonable distance of several main attractions. The dinning options within walking distance were very good. The things we didn't like were the lack of amenities such as room service and simple comforts in the room. Also, we we're charge $50 per night, damage deposit, upon check in. It will take 2 -3 weeks to get refunded that deposit. We we're also charged $20 per night for WIFI access. I would like to know about charges and deposits like this before I book a room.
Great location and very friendly staff. The hallways were a bit messy with debris but the room was very clean. The staff was EXCELLENT!

Very clean, updated, polite staff, excellent location, very close to Metro station, Met, and Central Park. Very quiet at night, so we slept well.
Hotels seldom look in person as they do online. Such was the case with Hotel Belleclaire. Our room was on the 4th floor which, in one area, was under repair. When we stepped out of the elevator, there was cardboard on the floor, a ladder and open ceiling tile. It was not a good start. We had a queen size bed. The room as small but clean enough. All hardwood floor with scratches but again it was clean. It actually smelled like bleach when we entered. There was a small closet and a window air conditioner. There was a radiator for cold weather. The bathroom was small but modernized. All in all it was decent—not remarkable. The hotel itself is old but has been renovated to a decent enough contemporary design. The elevators are small, cramped even. The location is good. 77th and Broadway. It is near the 1 and 2 lines and fairly close to Central Park. It’s a decent enough place to lay your head for the cost.
Beautiful. Clean. Spacious for a NYC hotel. Lovely neighborhood. French pastry and delicious coffee right next door. CVS across the street. Two blocks to the 1 train. Room was not sound proof. Some clanging plumbing.
Nice hotel. valet parking was easy. Rooms are small but expected. Had snacks in room available for purchase. AC had a hard time keeping up at first.
Perfect location. Clean hotel and room was a good size. Hot water was an issue. Even watching tv costs extra and WiFi was not great. But would stay there again.

Prompt check-in, pleased with our room accommodations, very comfortable, clean and a nice view (king deluxe w/view). Our bathroom was a little small and had limited counter space for getting ready but it was manageable. Nice patisserie next door that was convenient for breakfast and we generally loved the location and neighborhood. Overall was a very pleasant stay!

The incidental deposit is a requirement for all guest. Depending on your banking institution, the deposit is normally returned in 5 to 7 business days. With the $20 resort fee, our guests are entitled to $10 food per day for up to two guest, connection to our premium WiFi, complementary luggage storage and complementary bottles of water.
