Checkin was quick & we were able go into our room around noon. Everything was clean. Central air worked well, plenty of heat, and not noisy.

I really liked this hotel and the location was perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient. My room was clean and quiet (in the back). But as my stay was for 11 nights, it would have really helped to have a mini fridge and an electric kettle, to be able to make a hot drink late at night. Nevertheless, I would probably stay there again.

Upgraded to one of the small suites on the 9th floor, though it was still quite large -especially for an older NYC hotel. Beautiful decorated bedroom and living room, very bright and multiple windows overlooking Broadway. (Don't worry, room was so quiet.) Hallways and room spotless. Friendliest staff. Included breakfast vouchers from take-away croissant pastry store off lobby.

Don’t even know where to start. There was dark hair all over the bathroom. My daughter and I are blonde. The HVAC was making a loud buzzing/clanging noise in the room. Engineer was called. He couldn’t fix it. Said he would have front desk call with options mini g to live rooms or get refund. Hours went by and no call. I called them three times and each time was told that they’d get right back to me. Just as we were leaving for the show we came to town to see I got ahold of them (still no call) and was treated like I was the problem. Was told that since I “didn’t want to move rooms” the there was no solution. I wanted to move rooms three hours earlier but never given option. The manager repeated over and over “you’re choosing not to move rooms” when we were walking out the door for a show. As it was we were late. They offered to take off the facilities fee and I said that wasn’t good enough so manager said he would figure out more compensation. At midnight when we returned nothing had been done. Had to talk to another manager who offered 20% off room rate. Had no choice but to take it. But I took me 5 calls and one in person discussion. The bed was old and uncomfortable, rug was stained. Will NEVER stay here again.
