Nice place, great location. Walking distance from time square and central park. Good bars and restaurants very close by. Rooms are kinda small but u guess thats common but would stay again for sure

Hotel was located within walking distance to Terminal 5.

La estadia agradable. El personal educado pero muy poco comunicativos. Personal de Seguridad atentos. El door man cooperador y simpatico.

Had a great time.... already planning on going back there next year

the whole family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. lovely area , walking distance to good food and good music

Have been staying at this hotel for over 20 yrs. and don't really have any bad complaints. Disappointed that the free parking is no longer included in the free amenities. But, hey!... $20.00 for a 24 hr. period isn't bad for NYC. and, you never have to give your car keys to a stranger...you park the car yourself. The ladies at the front desk are most helpful. Reminder to all. No matter how tired you maybe on your arrival. Don't take it out at the front desk. Politeness and respect always wins. Try it. It cost nothing, and the rewards are bountiful. Will be returning again next summer.

Decent location, nice deli steps away and great pool !

Within walking distance of Times Square. Very clean. Not fancy but adequate for the price.

The location is great. Parking is only $20, which is cheap. Big pool which wasn't open for the season yet but looked good and is rare for NYC. Friendly staff. Room was clean with a Fridge. Bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on a slab. Woke at 5am and let the water run for 10 minutes and the water never got warm. I had to take a cold shower.

This is our second visit to NYC and our second stay at Travel Inn. It is conveniently located, the staff are nice, secure parking at a reasonable rate. The first time we stayed in the main building and the room was nice, beds uncomfortable. This time we stayed in the adjacent building with open balconies. This room looked tired, scratches in tub, door had a hole in it that had been patched, ripped bed skirts, just did not feel the same. Another negative was non smoking room so other guests stood on balcony and smoked, could smell in room.

Excellent location. Staff was nice. Within walking distance to the theatre district and Times Square. The hotel is comfortable enough, but the rooms could use some updating. However, it is very clean which is top priority in my book.

I called the front desk for some issues around 11pm, he said he will let somebody come to help, but nobody come. I waited for them for more than one hour and were sleepy. There is no quilt cover, the quilt is not comfortable.

good hotel!! would love to be back i would recommend this

Quite convenient and decent for overnight stay Room was nice but carpets can use some cleaning Staff and especially Bartenders were awesome

Have used Travel Inn previously, and find the location and facilities very satisfying. Room was on the street front, but was not as distracting as I feared. All in all, a good place to stay.

This hotel is about what we expected for the price. There is a nice deli next door for convenient meals, a grocery store and pharmacy nearby. It is not very close to subway access. Kudos for Nancy in the office for helping us arrange for transportation to and from the airport. She also took care of shipping an item left in the room and we received it the next day.

Three/four blocks to Times Square, three blocks to A-C-E subway station, several restaurants nearby, and best of all, garage parking is available on site (for a fee lower than any other hotel in NYC and includes in-out privileges). The staff at the front desk could certainly use a few courses in customer service and be more polite to guests. Rooms and the property could use a little updating but one gets what one pays for and this hotel was within my budget this time because I needed to drive to NYC and not spend much in parking. Beds are comfortable but do bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. It is 42nd street so there is city noise. Safe travels!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a good value for the rates. The next time, I would probably pick a different area. I was a little uncomfortable walking in the area after dark and leaving before dawn.

The location was great, but the room was so-so. Staff were nice.

It's so easy with the inside parking ($30 a day) to stay here. No big deal lugging stuff from the room to the car. They keep up with this hotel pretty good, but it does show it's age. The location to my trade show I attended at the Javits is great, and the on site restaurant is OK!
