I stayed at the Park South Hotel for 5 nights. The staff were exceptional (especially Luis and Rachel). They made me feel right at home and were sincerely interested in what was happening during my visit and quick to make suggestions on where to go and see. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to Times Square, Central Park and a subway entrance on the corner. The room was comfortable. It was small, but I didn't spend much time there. It was wall appointed and the shower was fantastic! The bed was comfortable but I would suggest you bring ear plus depending on what floor you are assigned. The roof top patio can be heard on the 8th floor. I used ear plugs and a sleep mask and slept very, very well. The attached restaurant is excellent, and very busy because of it. Make a reservation or eat at the bar. Try the Margarita pizza...YUMM!! Checking in and out was easy. Overall this hotel is excellent and I would definitely recommend it for business or pleasure.
I was there for a business trip, and this is my preferred hotel to stay at. The staff welcomes me back every time and makes each trip enjoyable. I'll continue to refer people to the hotel, and make my reservations with this team. It's a great experience every time.
I stayed at the Park South Hotel for 3 nights in February. This hotel is in a fantastic location - within walking distance of the Empire State Building, Flatiron District, and much more. Room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The window view was of another building, however, you don't go to to New York to stay in the hotel room. Note: there was no hair dryer in the room so make sure to bring your own. Covina, the restaurant in the hotel, is very good. I ate dinner and breakfast here. Service in the hotel and restaurant were both excellent and friendly. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone seeking a boutique hotel experience in a great spot. Have fun!
Excellent hotel with outstanding service and really good atmosphere. Book a table at the restaurant for a wonderful dinner/evening. Happy hour gets you free wine from 5 till 6 and where do you get this nowadays?
A delightful surprise for a meeting trip. The hotel was very nice (especially the meeting facility in the basement!) and the food was outstanding yet priced very fairly. Can't say enough nice things. Completely exceeded my expectations (except room sizes are very small - but it worked)
Booked this hotel for 4 nights. Great location, close to most key attractions. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. I booked a double room, which was extremely cosy, but since I was travelling solo it was fine. Would highly recommend.
we were by the elevator so it was a noisy evening, the front desk did give us 20 dollars off our final bill in good faith so we did appreciate their token of good will. the lobby is beautiful and the restaurant and cafe are top notch
I always stay at PSH when in New York for leisure. Perfect location. The staff is lovely. Chuck at the front door is always smiling and helpful. I give it 4 star because the wifi is too slow for streaming.
Stayed for 3 nights over Easter. Twin room was clean and fresh. Friendly and helpful staff. Doormen very polite and friendly. Lovely seating areas. Ate in The Covina restaurant and both food and staff were fantastic. Lovely rooftop bar to have a drink by the fire. Would recommend Hotel to family and friends. 10 minute walk to Empire State building.
Location was really great! Rooftop was awesome too! A bit expensive but within the NY average of drinks and food. Recommendable 100%. The only think we do not liked is that receptionist convince us to take a taxi for $45 to La Guardia having available less expensive transportations (eg Uber) Overall good
