Just returned after a four night stay at park south. We stayed in a double room 2 adults 2 children room was spotless location fantastic and staff so helpful. Was disappointed with room size with the four of us we could not move pictures make room look a lot bigger I had rang hotel before hand to see if we could upgrade and was told to wait till we arrived once we got their no upgrades were available. The Covina was ok very pricey 85 dollars for breakfast for us and we didn't order much. The only other problem was the smell of marijuana on third floor I did report it and someone came up and sprayed which didn't do anything not good with young children. Would stay again. It in bigger room and maybe another floor as I felt like we was in an Amsterdam coffee shop some nights. Mario on the door is great top guy

We were warmly greeted by doorperson and front desk staff who were all efficient, pleasant, kind and welcoming. We dropped off our luggage hours before check-in and it was not a problem. Our rooms were clean, beds comfortable, toiletries aplenty. We requested coffee/tea making facilities and a Keurig machine was delivered promptly to each room. There were four of us and each room had 2 double beds. Decor was delightful. Lounge on lobby level was warm and cozy. We checked out and left luggage for pick-up later. Again not a problem. Hotel is just yards from subway #6, close to restaurants,, delis, nail salon and more. We would return in a heartbeat.

The hotel was in a good location for our trips purpose. We were able to walk to East Village and Midtown and subway access was just a block away. The rooms were small which is normal for NYC but very clean and modern. Only criticism is that a coffee pot was not provided in the room, which would have been a nice addition so we could have had coffee while getting ready. Otherwise, highly recommend, friendly staff, clean, and fun location.

Always a pleasure staying here. Staff are so welcoming. It's such a quaint place to stay. Conveniently located. Love the renovations, the sitting area and new restaurant. I look forward to staying here again.

When I'm in NY, I only stay at the Park South. The staff are incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely seem to love what they do. For me, the Park South feels like a home away from home, and staying there is always one of the highlights of my trip! This hotel is truly one of the hidden gems in NYC!

Our second or third stay at the Park South and as in the past it was very good. We like where it is located and the special rate offerings. We would do it again. The new restaurant , bar, coffee shop are all very nice additions.

Everything was great including the rooms, the staff, the food, the location. I'm definitely going back. The pricing was also very reasonable for New York. It was so nice a stayed another day on a whim.

I have loved Park South ever since I got stranded there during hurricane Sandy. Since then there have been continuous improvements to the rooms and the additions of a rooftop bar and first rate restaurant. Through all that time the staff, most of whom have been there all along, have been unfailingly helpful and go out of their way to help all guests.

Great place! We have stayed here multiple times. Good location, great restaurant, cool roof-top lounge. They did seriously chump us on the bed this time, though. Booked a queen, got either a full or double - quite lame. Spoke with two clerks at the desk - no help - no acknowledgement. Shower had some technical difficulties, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly either. I hope they get back to par.

Fantastic hotel, great location. Great coffee shop and the restaurant seemed busy and popular, though we only had a desert there one evening. The staff was great, our room clean, decently appointed - though there was only one robe, and it seemed 3 towels was the limit. The public areas were very clean and nice, the library with fireplace is a great touch. Don't bother with the hotel sponsored 3rd part review process that talks about rewards and free nights. It auto-crops your photos and is generally frustrating. Nice concept and we were excited about the opportunity to stay there until about the 30 minute mark of trying to get all of a photo to upload to the 3rd party site. Weird.
