Lots of perks and trustworthy services.

Its an amazing stay, it also provided an umbrella, just in the time of rainy weather. Have a coffee cafe and its also friendly with dogs as well. I love this place and will definitely come back again!

It was impossible to sleep with the thin walls and metal plates at the intersection. There was also little to no hot water. The room was clean and bed was comfortable but overall it felt lacking.

We had great hopes for this hotel and we’re excited to stay somewhere different for our yearly business trip to New York. The hotel was lovely and the staff was super welcoming. However, on night 2, the heating went off. I’m not sure if it was property wide, but our room was affected and it was almost unbearable. We had to ask for heaters and for extra blankets. (it would’ve been great to have some kind of communication from the hotel manager about what was going on and offer these things, but we heard nothing about it) We even bought our own heating pads because it was very cold in the night was around 18° or 19° on average. We did ask for a bill adjustment, but if they did, it was hardly noticeable. That was a bit disappointing. The only other thing I would say is that because it’s an older (and beautiful! ) property, and the glass must be a little thin, we could hear almost every outside noise. We were on the second floor, so pretty close to the sidewalk, but people would sneeze and we could hear it. I think I’d stay there again, but I would make sure it was fall or spring so that we wouldn’t have to worry about the temperature situation.

Great location. Friendly staff. Very quiet hotel for sleeping. I was in the city for a weekend seminar and the hotel was walking distance. However I had no hot water for my shower my first morning and I had to wash my hair in the sink which weirdly did have hot water. I was told by a nice gentleman that he’d have an engineer look at it but it was still cold when I checked out. I did see a previous review with the same issue so it must be a building issue.

Good area, mediocre hotel

Meh. Pretty expensive for the state of the rooms. The bed was nice but the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and water stained. No food on premise. Also, I could hear the coffee shop on the first floor at 7am in the morning. Not really worth $300/night.

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by significant noise issues. Our lower floor room was directly impacted by lobby and cafe activity starting around 5 am, making sleep impossible. The room itself felt unclean and eerie, with visible blood splatter on the bathroom wall. A persistent musty odor added to the discomfort. While the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, the poor sound insulation and cleanliness issues overshadowed any positives. The dim lighting and haphazard renovations further detracted from the experience. We resorted to melatonin to get any sleep on our final night.

Great vive, very clean

I usually do not like any old buildings/hotels, but this hotel is amazing. I loved the vive, I would definitely go back. They provide you a metal water bottle you can fill, which I thought was great. Room was clean and no odor. Also the location was fantastic for visiting galleries. Absolutely recommend staying there.

This hotel is awesomely cool. Lots of artsy types come here to enjoy the mecca of private art galleries the next block down, the staff is great, the entire building is warm, authentic and comfortable. The small lobby is a great place to hang out, with its small coffee and bar. It felt like a small hotel, yet it had a grand feeling about it.
