the property location and architecture was amazing - room size was awesome for unique hotel. I wish that guests could enjoy the outdoor area without having to be seated and feel like we had to order something. Also, offer at least espresso or something after 2pm when bar opens. was frustrating. but hotel itself really great

It’s a lovely place and beyond lovely staff. I gave it only a “good” for amenities because it needs a restaurant... for sure!

Loved this hotel. Super unique, amazing front lounge, bar area. Staff was wonderful. The only thing I could think of is that I wish there was a small coffee/tea maker in the room. I understand it's a unique, boutique hotel but we could at least have that in the room.

Wow, what an unpleasant surprise. I was excited to stay here as I love historic buildings, unique hotels and places with character. However, this one is not what it purports to be -- a high-end hotel with charm. It is rather a somewhat charming, second-rate hotel trying to dress itself up as something more. The good things: - The bed was super comfy, if a little bit of a big squishy cloud - The sheets were crisp and soft, although I find it strange when the bottom sheet isn't fitted and easily comes untucked - The shower water pressure was high and the shower water temp was hot The bad things: - Every complaint we had (there were many) was met with a big "We are so sorry and apologize profusely" but yet practically nothing was done to remedy any of the issues - First room, 47-1/2, was tiny - Second room, 7, was off the lobby and ridiculously noisy - Hotel management was unresponsive to issues. I called twice one night, at midnight and 12:30 am to ask them to politely ask the party of 10 who was camped out in the lobby outside our bedroom to keep the noise down. Nothing happened, so at 1 am, I finally had to yell out of my door at them. - Hotel management knocked on our door at 11 PM (!?) another night to see if our JamBox was working (which it wasn’t), but 11 pm?!?! - Poor lighting. No reading light on one side of bed - No coffee maker in room, and a coffee in the lobby is ridiculously overpriced and slow - No ear plugs provided Spend your money elsewhere!

Friendly staff. Room given to us as an upgrade ended up being close to noisy lobby!

Great hotel in great neighborhood, coffee bar in the lobby make a great cup!

Excellent hotel for a weekend in the city. Great staff very charming.

Small, crowded lobby does not give the beat first impression but the staff does why they can to make us for it!

Rooms are really spacious and it's in such a cool building with interesting history. The staff is great and in would highly recommend staying here. They also have fantastic coffee. Espresso, lattes, even single origin coffees.

Unique property, cool vibe, great people. Will return!

We stayed 3 nights at the High Line Hotel and loved everything about it! It is in the Chelsea neighborhood, a quiet area but with restaurants, entertainment, and the High Line Park right around the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and the little garden in the back was a great place to relax at the end of the day. We had drinks at the bar outside and from the coffee bar inside several times. The room was perfect---clean, roomy by NYC standards, nice bathroom, and the most comfortable bed. We splurged for a special occasion, but hope to return again some day. I highly recommend it!

Tiny spaces and a bit noisy, however the bes is super comfortable and the design of the rooms and hotel is amazing!

Brandon, The architecture is definitely unique, adds a little personality to Chelsea. Things are a bit different for now given that we are still going through a Pandemic. Some details have momentarily changed and we do not know how things will be affected long term. Intelligentsia Bar (coffee bar) used to be open and available after 2pm and hopefully will be again soon. As for the restaurant, yes, they do take over the patio to elevate the guest experience. Prior to it opening, guests are welcome to sit and enjoy them. We hope to see you again soon. Cheers

Dear valued guest, In hopes of trying to rectify all the events that transpired and that went wrong, I remember trying to fix some of the issues. I mean it when I tell you, I am truly sorry about all the things that went wrong. As I had previously offered when you were staying with us, I wanted to invite to book with us again, and I will be able to offer you a complementary upgrade. I know we gave you a complementary upgrade when you arrive, but if you give me a heads up, I will arrange to give you our of our Deluxe Kings. In addition, I had personally made a commitment to ensure that this time around you will have a memorable experience. I know a late check out on your last day wasn't much, but I felt terrible not being able to deliver on options I wanted to give you as we were sold out. I hope that you could give us a second chance, and please feel free to contact us once the reservation has been made. Ask for me and I will handle the rest. Truly yours,
