The hotel location is superb. Near time square, Central Park and restaurants

I really liked the spacious room and bathroom, full equipped fridge, good Internet, nice staff, really good breakfast and nice hotel boutique design touches... However the mechanical ventilation was quite noisy and the absence of spa in the building make this hotel a not-coming back for me, since I come often for travel and I like silence and gym amenitiies.

Hotel was located near most of what we wanted to do, but the hotel is old and there where a number of things that needed repair. The heat in one room didnt work and the tv service was out in our other room.

Hotel staff not very welcoming. Room was not ready until 4:00pm. Could not bring luguage to our room. Very tiny rooms with no windows. Even the communicating family room was very small.

This was our second night in NYC and couldn't have picked a better hotel. This hotel is very well hidden between larger brickstones so very easy to miss. Area is much nicer than night #1. Upon arriving we were greeted by nice door person, opened the door for us and walked up to the quaint front desk where we were greeted by a very nice and welcoming agent. Really liked the attention to our check in and making us feel comfortable. They didn't have a room for us (we arrived around 12pm) so they took our bags and we went to discover NYC. When we got back front desk was busy - she acknowledged us and said someone would be up with our luggage, 5 minutes alter she came up with our luggage. Room was small... open the door and you are greeted with TV on left and bed in middle of room. This room was small but the bathroom ... WOW.. it was great! Clean, great shower and bidet... yeah the bathroom itself and huge shower and dimmers made this room top notch for me. You really couldn't hear much except the elevator every now and then. Mini fridge, stock up with soda and alcohol, and snacks hidden away in closet, great use of space! In a nutshell if you want to be in a "nicer" area without going to upper east side... still be walking distance from Timesquare and stores i would suggest staying here. Oh and bed was also comfy. We were a block away from street - Avenue of the Americas.... just as reference. Thank you to the hotel and staff... next time we go definitely staying there!

Rooms are small but beds comfortable is quiet in great location lots of restaurants and quaint bars near by. Staff friendly and helpful

One of the best staffs ever, rooms very clean and supplied with the basic necessities.

Room was small, but comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we slept great. The staff couldnt have been nicer and the nightly cookies were amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

Dingy small room with loud air conditioning unit and no natural light.

I'm very happy with my stay. Enjoyed everything. Very nice room.

While the hotel staff were nice, and the location was excellent, it has been a while since I have seen such a bad room.

GREAT LOCATION AND FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

Had a little difficulty finding the hotel especially while we were driving since it only had CC on the door written. So we had to call the hotel and the staffs were more than willing to stay on the phone just to assist us get to the hotel. They have no valet but there are 2 parking garage close by. Their location is on the 44th street and between 5th and 6th. It's walking distance to broadway shows, empire state, cental park, time square and rockefeller. The old looks small and kinda older but for the price we paid $237/night for 5 people, they have the best rate, location, staff and it's pretty comfortable. They even gave us free cookies. The room is clean and I was pretty impressed with the bathroom. The beds are kinda lumpy and aircondition was weird. But I would definitely stay here again not just coz of the price!

The hotel is located in very close proximity to Times Square. The staff was very friendly and helpful (5 stars). The overall hotel room was just okay. Some of the features were a bit older and could use some updating. The bathroom door is located right next to the bed so it was a bit awkward. Not sure if I would recommend the hotel for the price I paid.

Granted this was my first hotel that I've been in while in NY. It was NOT a disappointment by any means. Wi-fi was stable, the room was simple/petite (mine anyways), but the bathroom was very modern/luxurious, the shower was nice, it has a bidet, the bathroom amenities are solid. The staff was generally helpful with recommendations and accommodations. Maybe it was because I had a petite/simple room..., I didn't have a desk/table or chair ... at times that was a bit inconvenient, there was a small 'desk/bed stand' but if you wanted to eat in your room and not eating on the bed or the floor... Overall, I was very pleased with my stay here, and would absolutely stay here again with any hesitations or reservations. But on that note, I would need to stay at other hotels to really compare with this one :-)

Perfect Boutique Hotel. Professional and friendly staff.

Loved the design and decor of the room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Location very convenient(parking garage direct across street). I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Place is deceptively nice. Everything is tiny until you hit the room. Very nice surprise once you are in the room. Very Comfortable. Only problem we had was with trying to get some extra towels. We had to ask 3 times. I am sure this is not a normal occurrence. The staff is very friendly.

Was in NYC 1 night for a show. Booked my flight and hotel together 3 days before I left. Couldn't be happier. Hotel and staff were great. Extremely nice hotel. Not much view but that's it for the negatives. Would stay there again.
