Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Very accommodating staff.

My wife and I had a very pleasant initial experience, our room was in a high floor as we requested an it had a partial view of Central Park as advertised. But that was it, the daily afternoon event was always crowded an the food and beverages of dubious quality, similar remarks can be applied to the breakfast offer. We had additionally several partial electric outages in our room which were repaired in a matter of minutes. We also had several maintenance visits to our room while we were occupying the room. To add to this the day before our departure we had no water supply for half a day, the staff deny any resposability for the failure attributing it to “the city” no satisfaction was offered or given by the inconveniences. Instead the key to our room ceased to work the last day of our stay, when this was reported the staff took forever to process and they claimed our reservation was for one less day. We had already checked our reservation on the day of arrival and at the middle of our stay. The burden of the searching was put in our shoulders, luckily my wife had a copy of the Orbitz reservation, not from Expedia as they incorrectly claimed and they had to provide the full stay. The behavior of the staff was absolutely inapropiate and hostile. Not a single apology was given.

We had a grand time in the Parklane. The staff were always helpful and responsive. Everythimg was well presented and efficient. Very comfortable and clean each day of the 3 days we stayed. We definately would return! Lovely convenient location.

It's nicely located on Central Park South with easy subway access. Rooms are large and staff mostly responsive. However, when we checked out we got a bill for daily "fee" and a visit to a supposedly free happy hour where we had cheese cubes and water. I asked about the fee and was told it was for "amenities." Like what? Elevators and a TV? Pretty angry about this

I was nervous about staying at the Park Lane after reading other reviews, but I'm certainly glad that I did. Can't beat the location. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had a nice view. I might have been annoyed about the resort fees if I didn't know about them in advance. With the daily happy hour and the encouragement to take as much as you want, I think I got my resort fee back in food and soda.

To be near Central Park is a luxury. Also it is very easy to get around the city from that location.

Loved it! Comfy and clean beds, centrally located! Close to restaurants, stores and Central Park !

Park lane hotel sits across from central parks southern most entrance. It's centrally located near many great shops and restaurants to please all. The hotels description of our particular room promised a good view of the park from our spacious window. The view however left something to be desired as in we only had a sliver of a view of the south east corner. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for two people and a very spacious bathroom. The bathroom was in working order but if your neighbor ran the water you felt it in your shower. The closet had plenty of room for our clothes and bags however it lacked a light. This hotel offers everything you may need for a weekend getaway in to New York City, or for a nice weeks vacation.

Breakfast buffet, the waiter charged us $12 for room service while we pay direct and ate in the restaurant

Loved the location of the hotel near Central and conveniently close to many attractions. There is a coffee/snack shop as well as a restaurant in the hotel which made it convenient.

This hotel is in a perfect location to access all that New York has to offer! Central Park is directly across the street and there are fantastic restaurants all around. Sarabeths was delicious! The taxis and subway stops are everywhere and found it was really easy to get around. The hotel is a bit dated and the Fitness room is not great but I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonder trip to NYC and great stay at the Park Lane!

The staff was very friendly and also very cooperative

only stayed three night and four days to short. A little odor from the horse in the north entrance.

The location is excellent , next to the park and half a block from the metro station In the middle of NYC The hotel isn't outdated , rooms are old. All rooms had safety box but not my room we call and they kindly say that it was weird but the were going to put one as soon as possible Well the soon as posssible never came , when we call the third time , they told us that they had a safety box downstairs , which the let us use after the second night We order something from amazon , the things arrive and they said there was nothing , so we had to call amazon and they said who received it and when we call concierge the found it So it was little things but still for me that is why my review was like that

Great hotel is really close to central park has a nice view

Hotel is charming and best you can have for midtown location. You can walk across the street to Central Park and also walk to best NYC shopping or finest museums.

The hotel was great overall, staff was kind and good hotel's location was also great we walked everywhere and 10 meters away there was a subway station. However, hotel was charged us 35 USD per night as a facility fee and 2.93 dollars as a tax per night which is noticed in the confirmation, so know you will be asked to pay that amount.

Maximum three stars hotel! Over priced ! The carpets is dirty everywhere! Breakfast is cold and pure, but will cost you 40 dollars! Stuff at the breakfast area is unwelcome! Never will stay here any more!

I live the park lane hotel. Me and my husband always choose to stay here because it's location, fantastic view, confortable room and bed. Good cost benefit!
