The restaurant was closed. They chose to steamclean the carpets on superbowl sunday, so I couldn’t watch the game in the lobby. On Sunday walking out of the horel front entrance I nearly busted my ass on an ice patch. The worker there saw me almost fall with my cane and immediately attended to me and chopped the ice up. Staff was super friendly. Also the entire sidewalk was closed and very icy.

First I know I requested ocean view but never get it, next was the room we got the when showering the water come out on the room . End up getting a next room but one floor down . But to top it off paid for breakfast and never got because kitchen was down . Just imagine our trip first to New York and the storm . Staff was great still . But my stay there wasn’t what I expected.

Stains on the carpet, walls, and sink vanity. Shower had poor water flow, and the shower head needs a deep cleaning. Fridge didn’t work. Close to multiple subways, and beautiful water views. The room was small. I wouldn’t return due to the hotel’s poor upkeep.

There was no heat on floors 1 and 2 where the restaurant and bar is. It was 16 degrees outside. I was charged and booked waterfront rooms. I was put in room 2201. That faces the back of the building looking at other high-rises.

The hotel is very outdated. Location is great but needs a lot of work, from the rooms, to the hallways (mainly hallways as they have an odd odor and stains). The room are small and have the basics. The feedback is also jagged as each of my 3 nights we had either the fire alarm go off, without any notice or why and having an issue with the pipes were they had to change me rooms. With all these issues, we got no apologies no rectifying, etc.
