New York Hilton Midtown

Had a weekend getaway in Midtown, and the Hilton was the perfect spot, good price, and my stay was just what I wanted from the hotel - uneventful. Hilton Midtown was clean, professional, and the staff was kind, quiet, and helpful, which meant I could focus on enjoying my weekend, not worrying about my room.

It was nice and Clean- Why do I have to write more to submit this- that's what most people want to know

Nicely located and within walking distance to many tourist hot spots. Only complaint was hotel staff trying to convince is to take their $140 shuttle to the airport because it's cheaper than Uber. Uber cost us $74.00.

My expectation of the famous Hilton Hotel seemed disappointing. The 3 and four stars Hotels that we had resided looks 5 stars compared to Hilton, to include the current Military Lodges nowadays. My perception is that this, Hotel has been mismanaged lately. There was not even a courtesy drinking water nor other necessities being offered to the residents. The Herb and Kitchen employees have no customer related manners, rude and seemed bitter towards their jobs. Even the employees in the lounge bars seemed unhappy and bitter, could not even smile a bit. I feel bad to one lady who was yelled at by the cashier at the Herb and Kitchen for a simple mistake that she was not on the customer line. At the same token, a couple of oriental ladies were thrown out of the bar table because they failed to order drinks sooner.

We drove 5+ hours and arrived at the hotel around 2PM with 2 babies. We try to check-in asap so that the babies can get some proper rest. The staff told me the rooms are available after 3PM, which is fine even though I tried very hard to get a room immediately. However, when we come back later around 6PM they told me the room is not available until 8PM, which is ridiculous. Also, the staff at the lobby are not very friendly or helpful. We will definitely not stay there anymore.

Family trip to NYC. Clean, decent size rooms. Highly recommended!

Everything you need for a stay in NYC. Location and comfort are hard to beat. We enjoyed staying there very much.

Went with my wife and son. Had a great time. Staff was friendly and location close to everything.

Pretty good size rooms and in a good overall location. However, after hitting the close by touristy spots, the area is limited in restaurants and fun shops. For the price, not having free WIFI int he room is a disappointment, esp if youre a foreign traveler. House keeping was very stingy with the toiletries, esp hair conditioner, etc... The elevator situation in the morning was awful. Some mornings, we had to wait about 10 mins for a somewhat empty elevator. Checking in took forever, They have 10 stations but I think there was only 1 -2 staff working every time I went to the front desk.

Small, no city views at all and bathroom to small, was clean but not what i was expecting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not to bad for the price

Check in was very smooth and quick. We were pleased with our room. However, the lobby staff was not as nice and certainly did appear rude and unhelpful. Even when I looked perplexed, no one in lobby tried to help. The elevators ran smoothly and the room staff was very cordial and helpful.

Nice hotel with a scrumptious breakfast. Beds were quite uncomfortable. The A/C/Heat system is old and very loud.

Really annoyed that this hotel sees fit to use their phone message service aka 'the blinking light on your hotel room phone' as a way to trick guests into listening to a commercial for their Hilton time share/vacations.

Everything was good, but they charged me $120.00 for 1 night to park my truck! NEVER park here. Just obsurd! even for NYC. I could have parked in a lot for half the cost. drinks at the bar were way over priced as well. Think Disney land when you stay here, they just make you bleed money

Wallpaper peeling off the walls, paint chipping off ceilings particularly bathroom, HVAC vent dusty, handles falling off of sliding closet doors, hallways in desperate need of vacuuming.

Room was very nice, it was clean and the hotel staff was very cordial I love the location and I would definitely come stay there again, thank you

Helps to have in hotel breakfast option. Bathroom small but probably typical. Changing of season no heat available yet but plenty of blankets. Good selection.

Staff unfriendly but otherwise good stay. Within walking distance of Times Sq., Broadway, Rockefeller center& Central Park. Is your a Hilton Honors member you will not get points when reservation isn't booked with Hilton

Hotel was conveniently located for sightseeing, shopping and shows. Our executive suite was roomy and comfortable. Some furnishings could be updated. Access to the lounge was a nice, unexpected benefit. Front desk staff a bit slow and customer service did not seem a priority unless you were a Hilton Honors member (5 people checking in Hilton Honors members, 1 person checking in all others, resulting in a very long line!)
