It was better than I expected: everything was clean, there was a shared kitchen with tea and coffee, and it was very quiet. The luggage hold is in a common, unguarded area, so bring a luggage lock, but I had no problem with this. I would def stay here again!

I did not like the lack of panels and curtains. Had a top bunk and was basically on a big bed with the girl next to me. She didn’t like it and neither did I. No sleep. Everyone was very loud and rude. Nobody would even say hi back except one sweet girl even though I wasn’t trying to start any big convos just say hi when I entered a room. Everyone was young and very rude. I don’t associate those two things all the time but everyone was definitely those two things. And there is no enforcement of anything. People were noisy and such. Paneling and curtains have been removed due to some NYC decision about air and light so, this place is the worst. Motion detection lights and 4-6 in a room with a bathroom outside of the room is criminal. The front desk people were nice and the location is good. Lots of places to charge your phone as well.
