I lost all my money that has been stolen from my room

Our Second Stay at this fine Hotel. Staff is great and so is the Hotel. The only negative thing I could say is that it looks as if the carpets need to be refreshed and the tile in the entrance make for a very dangerous slippery floor when it has been raining.

Great location and staff was helpful. Loud rooms because of neighbors but not bad for ny. Very nice... w

Very polite and well spoken staff. Concerned about quality, comfort of guests and their needs.. Room was immaculate , beds and bedding suburb. Towels were heavy and soft. While we chose not to use adult beverages in the room we acknowledge they were b generous in size . Not nip bottles. We had an interior room not facing the street , very quiet and dark allowing for a very peaceful sleep. Two blocks off Times Square, but you would not know. I would definitely rebook Knickerbocker Hotel. The hotel is one block off of Bryant Park/Whole Foods. Great experience.

fantastic experience!!! the room faces to times square, beautiful view. staff are very nice

The Knickerbocker was the perfect spot to stay for our extended weekend in Manhattan! The location was convenient to everything, with many attractions within a 15-minute walk. The staff was extremely attentive, and even did some special things for our son on his birthday (without us even asking). I highly recommend it!

Great midtown Hotel. This is. my second visit and will be back

Perfect location in times square. Hotel was still quiet inside so was able to sleep without noise.

Excellent experience in Manhattan NYC. High quality service through and through at this hotel

it was great!! the only thing i didnt know was how to a get a better room with a view of times square. we did ask---the staff was trying to accomodate but therewas no availabity

Perfectly settled in the middle of downtown and tip of time square.

Literally the nicest hotel I’ve ever seen. Amazing staff and accommodations. They had a room available when I arrived (at 9am) and they let me check in right away! Besides the fact the hotel is right in the center of Times Square, (across the street from H&M) never staying anywhere else when traveling to the big Apple. Loved this place!!

Breakfast in the main restaurant was quite disappointing. Wish they hadn’t eliminated their buffet.

we had a great stay and the hotel is in a great location!!!

The ONLY thing missing was coffee! I read there was a coffee bar until 7 am, but I was vacationing and arose much later.

Arrival- we came in at 8:30am and didn't get room assigned till 2:30pm. Fully understand the early check-in policy, which is why we asked the Reception desk to upgrade (will pay $$$) and give us a room. The flat reception response was NO room in entire hotel available. We were traveling with 2 minor kids and had to wander the streets for 6 hrs, after already traveling on 6 hrs overnight flight from LAX. Room Service- we were told 2 complimentary water bottles each day. First day, we got 1 bottle only and when inquired they were persistent that 2 bottles were delivered. Staff came in our room with attitude and after making us feel we weren't being fully honest, put a 2nd bottle and left- Pathetic. Besides, 1 more day where no water was even put, and we didnt bother to ask. In general if im paying $$ for stay, i'd expect hotel to live upto their end of bargain. Dont care for dimes and cents here. We've traveled all over the world and stayed in 4/5 star hotels all along, and this by far was our worst experience. I don't expect a response here. but wanted to share our below par experience.

Great hotel! Excellent location. Clean rooms (however a good bit of staining on the room and hall carpets). Very comfortable beds and overall quite room. Love the double sinks and walk in shower. The only real quirk was the extremely large "pillar" in the middle of the walkway from the room to the bathroom. Wasn't a huge issue but did chop the room up. Could potentially be an issue if you get up at night to use the restroom. Staff overall was helpful and courteous. Will definitely be back.

First off don't believe the square footage measurements. Not by a long shot. This isn't Orbitz's fault: the same numbers are on the Knickerbocker's own website. They claim their "Superior" room is 350 square feet. I took a tape measure and it is generously 230-240. I pointed out the discrepancy and was given an upgrade to Deluxe. Of course a Deluxe may not be available every time, so be prepared to get a room more than 100 square feet smaller than advertised. Housekeeping was terribly unresponsive. I had to make calls to get housekeeping services on two out of the three days I was there. Called at noon and at 5:30 room still wasn't made up. Lastly, the "resort fee". Not only is this a scam on its surface - any amenity the hotel provides should be included in the room rate - but as you check out they refer to this $32-a-night fee as a "hotel tax", in an underhanded attempt to make it sound like it's something that the city or state is charging, rather than being a price gouge by the hotel. Oh, and when they say they offer a "daily newspaper", what they're referring to is the small tablet in the room. So if you bring your iPad, you're not even getting that as a true benefit. Orbitz says that by booking through them you get "Free Premium WiFi", but that's rolled in to the $32-a-night "resort fee". On the plus side the rooms are clean and recently renovated, the shower has hot water, the room has blackout blinds, and the storage realistically sized for a family.
