We liked location, dinning We didnot like size of the room

Next to MSG super awesome

Afroso upgraded my room to a suite for no extra money. This was the second night of our stay after a nice OTHER staff member had already upgraded us the night before! Really outdid themselves.

Definitely will stay here again!

For a 100 year hotel this is a charming, bustling hotel in the heart of Manhattan across from Madison Square Garden. There's Starbucks coffee and three restaurants right in the hotel and you're in the middle of it all. A garage a half a block away where you can get validated and it costs less than if you park normally. Helpful staff. Rooms are small and antiquated but are very clean and do the job. Very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed my stay here immensely

It was a great place for a weekend in the Manhattan.

We loved our view from our room. Very glad they have people checking to make sure just guests are going up the elevator - we appreciated that. They were also very responsive to any issues we had.

Centrally located for us, have stayed here at least 7 times!

The property is average. Great location which is why I picked it. The door staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon heading to check out, one of the staff offered help and I asked for assistance with regards a breakdown of the “facility fee”. He pointed me towards the check-in desk and he called someone to take care of me. When we arrived at the front desk, I asked politely with regards the facility fee. The Overnight Manager (dark skin gentleman with glasses) this morning (I checked out around 4:45 am) reacted very rudely to my question. He screamed at me saying “Everyone has to pay it!!” And then he stated to scold me that I should’ve read the fine print. Then I told the Overnight Manager: “It’s ok, I just wanted to ask a question.” And then he responded rudely: “and I’m giving you an answer.” After this, we just left the front desk and the staff person that was trying to help us, got ahold of us to make sure we were ok. My wife witnessed everything. With that said, I won’t be returning to this hotel. This was my third and final time staying here. I will take my business where I get treated with respect. What happened this morning is unacceptable behavior.

Don’t recommend staying here and it has nothing to do with the service. They key holders to the room are so old and rarely work. You have to go to the front desk every time you leave the building to get the keys reswiped. Feel bad for the people working there as the owners don’t care to invest in changing the system they’ve been using for 20 years.

Safe and clean. Location was perfect.

Great staff, loved staying in an old building. It was very loud though. We heard all sorts of knocks and doors slamming all around us. But for the price it was very comfy and the water pressure was amazing!

Last minute booking which turned out really well! Great location, super friendly service, Times Square 10-15 min walk. Would stay again!

Ok

Clean but extremely small bathroom. No place to set toiletries.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient walk to shopping, Broadway, Madison Square Garden, subway and train station. No coffee maker included in the room and the price from the hotel was excessive, so we went to Macy’s and bought one. Hotel could use some TLC, but nice place overall.
