the room was terrible for the price. Tow of the bathrooms in the bar area were not working. reception staff and front manager were helpful as i could not stay in that room as bedroom linens and bathroom did not look clean. I was an only in nyc for one night and it was a huge inconvenience to cancel the hotel and book another hotel and added expenses with unnecessary cabs. I really think the single rooms should not be available for booking and outrageous to charge 400 plus taxes plus a facility fee! I would not recommend anyway to stay there. Orbitz refunded the room rate but i was still out the facility fee. All in all other than the front manager and reception staff being great it was a horrible experience.

Our room was cold. When we checked in there was a window air conditioner - with large gaps. There was no heat - and the wall thermostat had been removed. When I talked to the front desk, they said the heat had not yet been turned on. They did send someone up to remove the AC unit, but not thermostat was installed and no heat the rest of the trip. The temps dropped overnights. ALSO - the shower flooded the bathroom floor and the toilet took multiple flushes to remove waste. While we have stayed here numerous times before, this was a disappointing stay and I doubt we will stay here again.

It has a perfect location if you are visiting NY for leisure, train stations two blocks away that makes it very convenient. However we had a bad experience during the check in, our room was dirty from previous guests. Also the room conditions could be better overall.

The hotel is in an incredible location. It’s very cool in the lobby and truly convenient to everything in Midtown. Loved the little patisserie restaurant in the lobby. There’s pizza next door and theater all around. The staff is amazing and helpful. The room was just okay, but comfortable and perfect for my son and me. Overall it was a great experience.

Perfect location. I had a Single which was really small but I preferred not to pay more than $315. However, the room was really cold, not even a glass. Obviously one night I could deal with. I really hate dark lights in the hallway, in the main check-in area. But, it was packed so I suppose others were fine with low lights.

1 Star Extremely Disappointing Stay at the Paramount Hotel NYC I recently stayed at the Paramount Hotel in New York City, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The moment I walked into my room, I could tell it was in terrible condition — the walls were dirty with black marks, the paint was cracked and chipped, and the bedding had visible rips. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, which made the entire space feel neglected and poorly maintained. The most concerning part was the window. A portable air conditioning unit had been duct-taped into it, and the window sill was detached, leaving a large open gap. It felt as though the window was open the entire time -the noise level was unbearable, and the gap looked big enough for bugs or even rodents to come through. I’ve lived in the city before and understand normal NYC noise, but this was far beyond that. When I went to the front desk to request a room change, I was brushed off and told, It’s the city — it’s going to be loud.They said someone would come up to check the window, but no one ever did. On top of that, three elevators were out of service, causing long waits just to get to my floor. What made things worse was being charged a Resort Fee.There’s absolutely nothing resort-like about this property — no amenities, no comfort, no hospitality. Overall, the experience felt misleading and unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and strongly believe guests deserve a refund

Great Location.

Great location less than a block from times square. Basic room but who cares? We spent most of our time walking around New York and taking the subway. There was live music in the libby some nights which was nice. All the employees were super nice.

My son stayed and said it was great. I had to call to add a name to the reservation and the staff was amazingly helpful. They also were able to check in 4 hours early to settle in and start exploring. I was hesitant to have them stay in Times Square but they said the hotel was perfect.
