Two of the 4 elevators were not working. At times we waited 10-15 minutes. Loud construction in lobby as remodeling was happening.

The hotel room itself is okay, definitely nothing fancy and a bit dusty. But it was quiet, comfortable and felt safe! The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's a quick walk to most subway lines, so it makes getting around Manhattan so easy.

Everything was great, only complain was a room 3-4 rooms down the hall were clearly smoking weed in their room and the entire 3rd floor hallway smelled very intensely from it for several hours.

Rooms are small . Pictures provide are not what the rooms look like . They charge different prices for baggage storage. BUILDING NEEDS UPDATING .! showers paint was chipping.

Overall this hotel is cute, small and very convenient to Times Square. That's exactly what I wanted for my niece's 1st time in the city. Only thing was the window needed to be cleaned and a patched section of the wall needed to be fixed but we were using the room for sleeping and exploring the area most of the days we stayed. The hotel doesn't have parking but there are plenty of garages nearby, just budget for it if you're driving.

I only gave the hotel 2 stars because their manager, Robert is a gem. Everyone else I dealt with kept putting me on hold with no communication or help. My air conditioner was broke in my room. It was almost 80 in there. I asked to move and at first they told me they’d send someone up, but 2 hours later, they still had not, and said they couldn’t help me until the service person looked at my room for himself. After almost 3 hours they moved me to another room that also had the ac broken. They stopped answering my calls and were not helpful until the manager stepped in and moved me for a second time, but I had to move to another room the following morning because the one I had was booked. Even though my 4th room was the same size and style as the 3rd one. They also didn’t give me WiFi info when I checked in, but that’s minor compared to the room stuff. I lost almost 5 hours of my first night (only stayed 2 nights), waiting on them, just sitting in my room. Wild.

The room was fairly clean, but it had very little furniture and storage. It was also hot, and I was unable to change the temperature, despite two calls for someone to fix it. The bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel was really nice and convenient, with plenty of good restaurants. Overall, this hotel has not been my favourite in New York but I would stay there again if needed.
