Belvedere Hotel for family trip

The hotel is in a great location. Hell's Kitchen is nearby and there are a huge variety of restraunts available there. It is also about a 5 minute walk to Time's Square and about a 15 minute walk to Central Park. Broadway theaters are close by as well. We did not eat at the hotel restraunt. The room itself was small but accomodated my 3 boys ages 18, 16 and 14 in 1 room w 2 full sized beds. The shower is good. The AC wasn't great in our room but great in my boys room. Overall it was a good hotel for our family of 5 and we enjoyed our stay.

**** Electrical shock hazard ***** **** Mold ***** **** No clean drinking water for two days **** Bathrooms dirty and molded. Hotel and rooms smell terribly like mildew and trash. There were exposed electrical outlets with missing covers that presented electrical shock hazards. There was NO drinking water in the building including none in the vending machine for two full days. Terrible customer service at front desk. If you love and care for the health and safety of yourself and your family — Stay away!!

Great front desk staff. The elevators could definitely benefit from an extra upgrade. Also, the bathroom space felt like an airplane bathroom. The ice station is on the first floor so either you remember before you go up, or none for you because that elevator wait may take a while. The room was spacious, but somehow lacked outlet plug space options. It serves as a great stay location if you just need a place to sleep for a weekend, but its features are a bit dated. Again, great and courteous staff though.

Best hotel in nyc

All the doormen and cleaners are EXCELLENT. They are always ready to grant any request, give you more linens, and keep you safe on the street. The front desk is also wonderful welcoming you and giving you a late checkout. All of this is much appreciated and that is why we always keep coming back.
