The hotel is very accommodating! There was an issue with our room and they switched us to another with ease. I’m pleased with our hotel stay at Park Central New York and would go back again!

It was a decent hotel. We were on the 7th floor right near housekeeping quarters. It was pretty terrible. Every morning at 6-8 all we heard was yelling and loud noises. Otherwise the hotel wasn't bad. We didn't have comfortable comforters which was a down side. It was more like stiff blankets. Hotel staff was decent.

Great hotel with equally great location. Staff was profesional and helpful. Elevator is small for hotel size and wait time can be long. The alternative is taking the stairs.

We have been several times to NYC. Have stayed in various hotels from Brooklyn to financial district. Park Central is the top. Convenient to everything including Central Park and Lincoln Crnter. Enjoyed my stay. Will continue to use this hotel from now on.

Not certain what qualifies this hotel as a four star. The room itself is fine but the bathroom is very small with little room to manage. There is no coffee maker or complimentary water in room. Worst part, the staff was inattentive. I was actually contacted via text by someone named Ivy asking about our stay. I told them about the coffee maker and she said they would have one delivered in the room today. The next day still no coffee maker. Additionally, there were several things in the room that didn't work properly. Best part was the restaurant around the corner, which the concierge provided incorrect directions. When we found it the food was amazing.

This is ideally located between Central Park and Times Square. The rooms were nice and more spacious than many NYC hotel rooms. Our only complaint was the elevator situation. It always took a LONG time to wait for the only 2 elevators in the building.

Overall it was a good experience. Checkin was 4 pm. However, was allowed to check-in early around 3 pm. Very close to Central Park and walkable distance to Times Square. Lot of options drink and dine around. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Had to upgrade one of the king size bed room to two queen beds. Lobby was comfortable enough to wait for shared ride/taxi. The elevator is fast but small. Check out time is 6 pm. However, they have baggage check-in room if the flight is late in the evening. Hotel charges additional $42 as a facility charges for every night , which was unexpected. The common restrooms require hotel key to access. If you have checked out and need to use restroom then, need to ask at the front desk for a key. Was not pleased with check out process the guy at the check out desk was not very pleasant on 1st October 6 pm. The lady at the front desk was helpful. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Not the best nor it's the worst in town..

Great hotel; perfect location; great rooms with fabulous views

Upon arrival to the hotel for the first time we in error went to the concierge to check in and the staff member curtly said "The line is over there" pointing and in a corrective manner. We had dealt with some pretty horrible traffic coming from Washington DC that day. It was unfortunate that after a tiring trip our greeting at the hotel was lack luster and not welcoming. We had booked (or thought we booked) a one night stay. When leaving early the next evening my husband picked up the checked bags (we vacated the room well before check out) he attained the bill and questioned why we were charged for 2 nights. The manager said that that was what you booked. The staff managers (Sandy and Elizabeth) were not sympathetic or empathetic about the error but and said since the hotel booking was through a third party there was nothing they could do. I understand this was not the hotel error, but the staff do not know how to deal with difficult situations. They could have said they were very sorry this happened and that we should call the third party. It was much easier to say not our problem. You felt like since you did not book directly with the hotel you were a second class (if even that) customer.Did not feel valued This is unfortunate, I was happy with the hotel and our daughter being a first year law student I was looking for a place that was convention to the college and nice. The sterile attitude of your managers and staff make another staff very improbable

Hotel has lovely grand lobby and beautiful, comfortable lounge area. Our room was huge and very classy. Great bed. The location is right by Central Park and Carnegie Hall and within a nice walking distance to the theater district. The staff were courteous and accommodating. We had a very wonderful stay.

Excellent!! It is clean, comfortable and close to everything!

We had a two night stay in transit on a vacation to Ireland. We visited NYC for shopping and a show.

What i dislike about it was the mandatory daily fee that was charged to me and which i knew when my booking was done, not before

This was my second stay here and it was just as enjoyable. The combinations are perfect.

Centrally located for the best NYC visit. Awesome rooms and friendly staff. Can't miss with this hotel.

Second time we stayed at the Park Central. Will stay there again next time we are in New York.

Exceptionally well-located hotel with super-friendly and helpful staff. Room was SPOTLESS and beds very comfortable. Two drawbacks: teeny tiny elevators and the fact that there was no coffee/tea or mini-fridge in the room. Really the mini-fridge was the only thing we needed, for leftovers. The reason why there is no water in the room is because NYC tap water is known to be better than most bottled waters. So use the tap water, it's delicious with no chlorine taste at all. Lastly, there was a lot of traffic noise (honking) from 7th Avenue, but I loved our view across 55th Street. If the hotel could stretch the elevators, install mini-fridges, and stop the NY drivers from honking in the street, this would have been flawless. So it was terrific and I'm so glad we stayed there. This was Mom's last trip to NYC, where she is from. This hotel was a wonderful home base to go out and make new, happy memories.

We enjoyed our time in New York. Hotel was a good location to be able to walk to several local interests and able to take a taxi to ones a little bit farther away.

Room was very nice, good location, welcoming staff.

Quiet spacious room. Very reasonably priced. The only down side was when we were trying to get questions answered and we were being shuffled to the consierge desk and she was always on break. There was no place to buy bottled water late at night. But the ice maker worked and the water was fine from the tap. I would stay here again.
