Outstanding hotel. Hard to find any faults other than slightly expensive with no deals to be found. Location is excellent for shops, restaurants and Central Park. We had a very enjoyable stay and felt the staff went out of thier way to make us feel special.
I recently stayed there for the first time. The location is perfect, and within walking distance from everything in midtown. Rooms recently got renovated, and look very nice and bright. The gym is inferiorly locates in the basement, and relatively small to a hotel of this size. It could get really crowded. Service is exceptional four seasons standard, but the food, relative to other four seasons hotels, is not as exceptional.
Just the classic Four Seasons experience. Impeccable, personalized service, recognized by staff from the moment I arrived. Flawless arrangements by the concierge (e.g., car service), customized service by housekeeping (e.g., stocking the in-room refrigerator with my preferred products), beautiful, spacious suite, high end technology throughout. Simply everything one would expect from a luxury hotel, with a clear effort to exceed those expectations.
Four seasons New York is a beautiful hotel with relaxing recently renovated rooms. However, what sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. I have a wonderful experience each time I am a guest at Four Seasons New York.
Had an amazing experience at this property!! We went for a girls weekend and front desk and concierge staff were so friendly and accommodating. They gave us a wonderful room upgrade with a fabulous bathroom and closet area. Only thing I would say negative would be the pricing of the spa services. A little crazy even for New York City prices.
This is an excellent Hotel with great service. Virtually everything is top-notch. Nice room and amenities. Good experience with room service, TY bar and brunch. Staff is great. Only issue was very long delay with retrieving our car from overnight valet parking at a $70 charge. On a quiet Sunday afternoon, should not have to wait 30 minutes for your car to arrive. Good thing the doorman was charming.
We have stayed at this hotel over 10 times and the service and location always keep us coming back. The price is high relative to other high end New York hotels. They are able to charge what they charge because of the over the top level of service they provide.
Recently stayed at FS mid town New York. Like all FS properties, the staff were friendly, efficient and genuinely happy to help with anything needed. The room was beautiful, spacious and immaculate in every way. Great view towards Central Park & 5th Avenue. The building is amazing and the position perfect for business or pleasure. Thanks for making my stay in NY so enjoyable.
Great stay. Kindeness , professionalism off all the Staff. Suite with l'argento terrace. High quality breakfast a la carte . Great room service. Absolute cleening of the room and the bathroom. Absolutely reccomendable Hotel in the center of Manhattam.
Second time staying here. Location: Perfect for me. Walking distance to Central Park and Times Square for theatres. Even walked down to Bryant Park which is only 30 mins away. Rooms: Bigger than the usual NYC hotels. Higher floors give you amazing views - can even see Empire State Building clearly. Service: Inconsistent as compared to other FS properties. Not the personalised service that the FS brand excels at. Consistently slamming doors shut whenever housekeeping goes in and out of every room was a bit annoying when you're trying to nap (or even still asleep in the morning). That said, staff at the bar/lounge on NYE were great. I was going out for the evening (and it was frigidly cold out) - stopped by at the lounge and asked if they could make some hot chocolate for me to take out. I noticed they were busy with NYE customers and the lounge was in full swing. But they attended to it without any hesitation and came back within a couple of minutes. Thumbs up! Will I stay here again? Not sure. For location and room: Yes. For service: Meh.
