If you like large hotel rooms in NYC, you'll love this hotel. The rooms would be large by any standard in regular unpopulated cities so it was a surprise to get this much room in manhattan. Best part is the separation in the rooms - nice living space separate from the bedroom and closet to drop your bags and shoes, etc.

Great location, complimentary water which saved us a lot of money on bottled water! Front desk hooked us up with an upgrade. We requested to have all snacks and drinks removed from our son's room and they didn't do it. He got into the snacks and we were charged $160 super annoying, we knew he would get into the snacks and would have appreciated them doing us a solid by removing the $20 gummy bears

My husband ordered Champagne in advance that did not arrive and even though I have VIP access, parking is supposed to be included but my CC was charged. I have made 2 calls to have this reversed and it's still not rectified.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk initially gave us a smaller room and didn’t let me know. She tried to pull it off like I made a reservation for the smaller room and just gave us a roll away bed. This would have provided sleeping options for 3 people when we had four. When I called registration, they service agent was very helpful and informed me that they had oversold the room I had requested, and said that they front desk should have upgraded me to a bigger room. The service agent then gave us a nice upgrade which made the stay much better. It was a little disappointing that the front desk tried to squeeze 4 people into a 2 person room at the start. I think it is a matter of be aware of your environment in New York to make sure someone is not hustling you or trying to pull one over on you. The gym was not functional and was under renovations. Other than these issue at the start, the rest of the stay was great. There were several great dining and shopping options since the hotel was situated in the midtown with just blocks away from Central Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, and Rockefeller Center. The location was great.

Room was large and had good seating area and staff was very attentive, especially cleaning person..... room will be cleaned and taken good care twice a day This was really nice. Also location was really nice with safe walk and short distance walk to many touristic places in New York However, room advertised as central park view room, but it was very partial view of park......
