Soundproofing is essentially nonexistent here. I could clearly hear doors slamming and full hallway conversations from inside my room at all hours, which made it hard to rest. Hygiene was also a concern: on check-in, the pillows, duvet, and sheets had a strong greasy “scalp oil” odor. Housekeeping changed the linens, which helped only slightly. Over the next few days, the skin not covered by my pajamas (ears, neck, feet) became very itchy—something I’ve never experienced at other hotels; I even took antihistamines. This makes me question how towels and bedding are laundered.
For a property charging around $500 per night, this fell far below expectations and is the poorest experience I’ve had at this price point. Management should audit housekeeping/linen handling and address the door/noise issue. I would not return and can’t recommend it until these basics are fixed.
