This is my second time staying at the Edison Hotel. My family and I love how close it is to Time Square and Restaurant Row! The breakfast provided is enough to get us going for the day and there is so much to do around the area.

My 18-year-old daughter and a friend checked into their room and there was a man inside the room. He left without any explanation. Obviously concerned about why he was there. Manager was dismissive. Staff was rude. They mischarged the rooms. I called to speak to the manager to correct the billing and was told I would get a call back. No call. Overall terrible experience due to extreme lack of customer service and safety protocol.

Pros: location location and the free sit down or grab and go breakfast are a five star. Cons: the bathroom is like a small closet you can move around at all which makes it hard to even change your clothes in private, when you sat down to use the toilet your knee touched the tub that’s how small it was. The room was a dark brown had one lamp that was dim in the middle of the two beds and a tiny desk lamp that didn’t help at all. The room looked blank no appeal at all. The staff were not mean but they were not nice either just there to get paid. Also since the bathroom was so small took the blow dryer in the other room and it tripped the circuit how does that happen. Won’t stay again even though the location was great the cons just out way the pros.

How do you rate noise in the hot water old room radiator? It was like Chinese torture. Everything else was great but this sporadic sharp clanging was grueling. I even recorded it. I wonder if all rooms were noisy like this we were in 618. Three nights of little sleep. I am a light sleeper. It sounded like a sledge hammer. Just when I thought it stopped it started again. At first I thought it was construction outside. Again, everything else was great! The hotel is 100 years old and this is what you get.
