Great location, good size room, although bathroom and closet tiny. Bed/mattress excellent comfort. We were not expecting additional daily facility charge which we didn’t need or use.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel, especially for former UWSers who like to visit friends and favorite neighborhood spots. It is out of the hustle/bustle area and has much more of a neighborhood vibe. We also love the downstairs restaurant, Nice Matin.

Arrived very late so ordered from Room service. It was not up to par

If a review takes too much time, I won't write it.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Location is perfect subway station is on the corner. The problem was the beds were like rocks even with an air mattress and a mattress pad they gave me and the rooms were so dark I ended up wearing navy socks with a black outfit because I couldn’t see the color. Place is also pretty dated.

Staff tries hard to meet your request. Wine time should be extended.

Beautiful building but covered in scaffolding when we visited. Big, spotless room. Liked the wine available in the lobby in the late afternoon and the staff were very polite. It is in a great location surrounded by restaurants and other shops, and close to Central Park and subways. Not thrilled with this new "facilities fee" hotels are charging now.

Clean and nice, though small and a but tired. Staff was really friendly and accommodating.

Location location location is what I like. The bathroom is uncomfortably small

Loved the historic look of the building, inside was very nice. Corner lot made it easy to get to. But it was very hard to get in front of the building to check in.

Room was clean. Noise was minimal by NYC standards. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent 7 nights and had no problems. We would stay here again.

Room was on Amsterdam which was noisy early morning. Afternoon wine was a nice touch since there is no bar in the hotel. Could have provided some snacks.

Reasonably prices hotel that was clean and quiet with old world charm. Nice Cafe downstairs for breakfast or brunch.
