Wonderful hotel ,super clean and so close from lots of places

Doorman watched as I unloaded my bags and struggled through the door. Bellman watched as I struggled my bags to front desk. Never approached or asked to help. Why do they even employ those guys? Plus I was ready to tip. Room was clean but had noticeable damages and just didn't look nice.

The moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room was ready, and everything was clean and easy to check in. The service was outstanding and not one problem. The location was great too.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are very small,we were a family of four and one little tiny closet to hang our clothes which didn’t fit our clothes.

It was a wonderful experience; however, they were very difficult when we attempted to make a change on an incorrect reservation through Orbitz.....but I don't believe it was on the Hotel's part...it was Orbitz who was making the reservation change difficult. My only complaint is that after staying at the hotel 7 days....on our last day while waiting for our shuttle.....the woman security guard accosted my children who were patiently sitting on the second floor just sitting on their phones (they are all GROWN AND NOT LITTLE CHILDREN) and told them they could not wait there.....there was no where to sit downstairs. I am very insulted.

Nice, clean hotel, staff very friendly and kind, didn't have room service though but location was good. Very close to subway and attractions. I would stay there again.

The hotel is little far from Times Square, but it's pretty close to subway stations. Very good access to everywhere.

Good deal for the location, close to 9/11 memorial. Clean and comfortable room

Good location, definitely recommend. Staff very friendly.

The locationis walkable although “West Street” was once “Westside Highway.” The room was comfortable and sizable. The staff made every effort to accommodate my requests.

Nice location. Close to everything I wanted to do in NY.

My family lives in NYC, so I visit a few times a year. I have some family in the city, some in Long Island, so I usually stay somewhere in Midtown. Typically, the rooms are extremely small, there are no amenities, and I'm still paying a lot of money to be there. This time, I decided to try out the Marriott Downtown. The rooms are huge compared to other NYC hotels; the gym is easily the best gym I've ever been to in a hotel; the breakfast (if you get it with this room) is great; and the hotel is near all of the trains headed Uptown or to one of the Borroughs. Plus, it's near a TJMaxx (so, if you purse breaks like mine did, you can pick up a cheap one and stumble upon the Hamiltons' graves). This will be my permanent choice for a hotel when I visit NYC.

Just a nice hotel, close to the subway. Free wiFi only in the lobby.

The hotel was very nice. The one big downfall was that you had to pay $15 a day for wifi!! With 2 kids, this was very disappointing. The hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly and the location was terrific. We could see the river from our room and 9/11 and Battery Park were right there!

it was a surprise that the rate does not include the breakfast, you better think to offer this service to clients for a better price.

The hotel staff are really kind and they kept our baggage for free after check out which gave us time to roam around while waiting for our shuttle back to the airport.

Comfortable bed and quiet room. Great location. Nice to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Stayed in a Deluxe room with a king bed. I think if we had to nit pick, I guess the fact the shower was a stand up show only and no tub was a bit of a downer (my fiance loves to take baths). But the shower was huge, so that was pretty awesome. The bed was incredibly comfy, the amenities and abundance of charging ports for phones was great. All in all it was prefect.

Everything about it was perfect we got an upgraded room very clean awesome location can't say enough about the staff and the complete experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Nice hotel. Good location. Allows early checkin. Would definitely go back.
