Nice hotel. Good location. Allows early checkin. Would definitely go back.

We stayed over xmas- great location! Easy access to subways

I was disappointed when we first checked in, I was told there was not a Hudson view room available but that is what I booked online a month earlier. They wanted to only take off $30 a night because of the mess up, which I thought wasn't enough. However they ended up findings us a Hudson view room.

First time in New York great hotel to stay in everything is walking distance- hotel amenities are very expensive though so definitely eat out or bring little groceries in the room.

Enjoyed our stay was close to the 9/11 memorial, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, and port to go the Statue of Liberty

Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Want to come back

My wife and I flew into NYC for the very first time to explore the city. One of the main things we wanted to see was the 9\11 Memorial and ground zero. This hotel was only a few blocks from it. It's also very close to several subway stations and places to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel. If you're staying at this hotel on the weekends this area of town is very quite at night. Being in our room, that was just off of the elevator hall, we never heard any noise coming from the elevators or surrounding rooms. It was a very relaxing place to come back to.

Most attentive and helpful hotel staff I have ever dealt with. Easy and convenient check in and out process! Great, safe, clean Facilities! Take advantage of it the restaurant and the fitness center! Solo traveler (23 yrs) and I felt very well taken care of. Free upgrade and beautiful view. BOOK IT NOW

This is the largest hotel room I've ever had in New York. It was clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the lack of dining options in the immediate area. But you are close to Battery Park, the 9/11 Memorial, and the Oculus (which means you're also close to public transportation). The only drawback is the lack of variety in the dining options nearby--mostly chains.

Hotel staff could be friendlier. Somewhat lumpy bed. A bit older Marriott, but nice.

Very cold lobby and hall ways no free WiFi in your room great location with a kids park across the street

Great location in Financial District, close to Oculus Subway/train hub, friendly staff, large, clean, well kept rooms.

My family enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Downtown - the room was clean, comfortable beds and cool. It was close to the NY sights we planned to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will highly recommend the hotel.

Way beyond expectations-location, staff, facility-walking distance to important landmarks-good at hotel, very good-employees very helpful-enjoyed the head door man-very friendly-outgoing

Great location in financial district. Comfortable, clean room. Great beds (two doubles) -- super for 12 year old and me. Impressive gym -- very complete and classy. Only problem was wifi charge -- $20 daily -- unacceptable... Only reason that I don't rate hotel higher.

Experience was great being the first time in the city

My bed comfort was very bad didn't have a good night sleep something was wrong with the mattress

Room was OK--a little pricey for a the amenities included.

Three days is not enough time to visit Manhatten. New Yorkers are hospital.

I didn't know ithe hotel was so far from the event that I attended, but the subway was only a few short blocks away. The hotel staff was more than willing to provide directions, maps, and advice on which line to take.
