Good deal for the location, close to 9/11 memorial. Clean and comfortable room

Good location, definitely recommend. Staff very friendly.

The locationis walkable although “West Street” was once “Westside Highway.” The room was comfortable and sizable. The staff made every effort to accommodate my requests.

Nice location. Close to everything I wanted to do in NY.

My family lives in NYC, so I visit a few times a year. I have some family in the city, some in Long Island, so I usually stay somewhere in Midtown. Typically, the rooms are extremely small, there are no amenities, and I'm still paying a lot of money to be there. This time, I decided to try out the Marriott Downtown. The rooms are huge compared to other NYC hotels; the gym is easily the best gym I've ever been to in a hotel; the breakfast (if you get it with this room) is great; and the hotel is near all of the trains headed Uptown or to one of the Borroughs. Plus, it's near a TJMaxx (so, if you purse breaks like mine did, you can pick up a cheap one and stumble upon the Hamiltons' graves). This will be my permanent choice for a hotel when I visit NYC.

Just a nice hotel, close to the subway. Free wiFi only in the lobby.

The hotel was very nice. The one big downfall was that you had to pay $15 a day for wifi!! With 2 kids, this was very disappointing. The hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly and the location was terrific. We could see the river from our room and 9/11 and Battery Park were right there!

it was a surprise that the rate does not include the breakfast, you better think to offer this service to clients for a better price.

The hotel staff are really kind and they kept our baggage for free after check out which gave us time to roam around while waiting for our shuttle back to the airport.

Comfortable bed and quiet room. Great location. Nice to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Stayed in a Deluxe room with a king bed. I think if we had to nit pick, I guess the fact the shower was a stand up show only and no tub was a bit of a downer (my fiance loves to take baths). But the shower was huge, so that was pretty awesome. The bed was incredibly comfy, the amenities and abundance of charging ports for phones was great. All in all it was prefect.

Everything about it was perfect we got an upgraded room very clean awesome location can't say enough about the staff and the complete experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Nice hotel. Good location. Allows early checkin. Would definitely go back.

We stayed over xmas- great location! Easy access to subways

I was disappointed when we first checked in, I was told there was not a Hudson view room available but that is what I booked online a month earlier. They wanted to only take off $30 a night because of the mess up, which I thought wasn't enough. However they ended up findings us a Hudson view room.

First time in New York great hotel to stay in everything is walking distance- hotel amenities are very expensive though so definitely eat out or bring little groceries in the room.

Enjoyed our stay was close to the 9/11 memorial, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, and port to go the Statue of Liberty

Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Want to come back

My wife and I flew into NYC for the very first time to explore the city. One of the main things we wanted to see was the 9\11 Memorial and ground zero. This hotel was only a few blocks from it. It's also very close to several subway stations and places to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel. If you're staying at this hotel on the weekends this area of town is very quite at night. Being in our room, that was just off of the elevator hall, we never heard any noise coming from the elevators or surrounding rooms. It was a very relaxing place to come back to.

Most attentive and helpful hotel staff I have ever dealt with. Easy and convenient check in and out process! Great, safe, clean Facilities! Take advantage of it the restaurant and the fitness center! Solo traveler (23 yrs) and I felt very well taken care of. Free upgrade and beautiful view. BOOK IT NOW
