I would say the reception options should be reviewed. I was expecting something with a little more sustenance, not basically chips and dip. The daily different drinks were good. We had a decent stay with no issues.

The layout of our room was really bad. The TV doesn’t swing towards the bed. There is a serious lack of storage. The bathroom layout is terribly ineffective lacking counter space with lots of dead unused space. The shower head doesn’t go high enough. The electric curtains didn’t work until maintenance came to the room which took 1.5 hours and they didn’t know anything about them or how to operate them. Eventually we unplugged them from the wall and plugged them back in which then caused them to start working. The worst part is the $30 urban destination only being able to be used in the restaurant is awful. It should be able to be used anywhere on/in the property it’s just a money grab and feels dirty. The views were absolutely incredible and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff was excellent!!

After staying at Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls, ON; we were fan of this property. So decided to choose it when staying in NYC. - Food was not up to mark. - At time of booking, it said "Price includes taxes, resort fees and any other charges". But upon checking in, we were told that there will be extra $50 fees per night per room. We had two rooms for 5 nights. So this directly added $500 extra on already higher end price. - There was lot of trash right outside the hotel entrance... every single day! As you go out, that will be first thing you see and while coming back, you see it again. Gives very mediocre feeling to my relatives who came to sightsee USA for the first time. - No one picks your room service call from hotel room. Every time, we needed any food or towel, we had to go down to reception and wait in queue. Not at all convenient. Overall, not a good experience living there.

Good Hotel, decent location

This hotel accommodated my lasty minute NEED to secure a hotel due to my previous reservations at Comfort Inn and Suites being unsanitary and bug infested. The staff was accommodating, and even looked into using my discounts that were available to me. This hotel was pricey, yet worth the cleanliness and mental stability that is required to feel comfortable when lodging away from home.
