For such a small space it is overpriced like most of NYC. Room was clean. Wish it had a mini fridge and/or microwave. Hallway carpet to me looked dirty. Had friendlier staff at other hotels. Just my opinion.

It had been several years since our last time in Manhattan, so we were happy to stay at the tried and true Pod Times Square, and find it pretty much as we remember it from our last visit. We checked in, and then parked our car for four nights at a nearby parking garage (discounted 24-hr rate thru the hotel). Front desk staff is always present, friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and roomy enough for our bags and other belongings. Enjoyed our 17th-floor window view overlooking 9th Ave., with a peek at the Empire State Building! This place is always busy, with guests of all ages and from around the world. The location of this hotel more than makes up for the barebones simplicity of the accommodations. Totally walkable to Times Square, Fifth Avenue, the High Line, and more. A subway station is just two blocks away. And there are plenty of restaurants and other conveniences within a few blocks in all directions.

Convenient hotel, great location, with more of a upmarket hostel vibe. Rooms small (as we expected) but cleverly designed with hooks, storage and charging stations. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment. Staff were friendly and helpful, with the exception of the bar person - maybe she thought she was cool, I don’t know. Shame there is no longer a restaurant and that outdoor space was closed, but honestly we didn’t come to New York for the hotel so didn’t really matter. The walking tour bookable from reception was excellent. Would stay again.

Rooms have always been clean with comfortable beds. Great shower pressure. Friendly and welcoming staff. I have other guests complaining about the room sizes for a hotel named the POD. You get exactly what is stated and shown on the website. Great stay.
