My friend and I stayed in their bunk room for 3 days and it was great. We were shocked at how thick the walls were, considering how loud NYC is, but also how we could not hear a single neighbor or passerby. It was calm and peaceful. We felt comfortable playing loud music and laughing without the fear of disturbing others. The train station was a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and there was a 7-eleven right across the street. The view was also nice from our window as we could see the city from the 12th floor. The only thing that made us a little uncomfortable was the constant entering from staff/cleaning service. It wasn’t just once a day, it was EACH and EVERY time you stepped out of your room. We barely (if ever) saw them but the feeling of being watched and not knowing how they knew we were gone was a little unsettling. But everything else was amazing. The front desk staff and security are so sweet too.
