Soho Grand Hotel

4.5 out of 5.0

Soho Grand has freshened their linens, bad are the best, Frette, and most of all, the staff was kind, helpful, happy and remembered names, jumped to help any detail. In a world of getting ignored at NYC hotels - every person made me want to come back! Bravo!

Conveniently located. Close to SoHo and West Village. Excellent restaurant and lounge area.

We enjoyed this hotel very much except that the room was small and there was not even a free continental breakfast

I don't know what is grand about this hotel. Our room was sufficient but not beautiful or fancy. It was certainly comfortable enough but really nothing special. The location is great…in an interesting area of NYC, around the corner from a subway, and in walking distance to Greenwich Village. There are terrific stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Both Gary and Ferida at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Soho Grand is a very nice hotel in a great part of town. The accommodations are rustic but very nice and clean. I'd come back again.

This hotel is a Victoria Secrets model who is also a Rhodes Scholar. Rooms have brilliant amount of space for city standards. Empacably decorated from top to bottom. Personel and Service are second to none. Pure Class.....

I had a great weekend stay here. Very nicely appointed room with a great view. Staff was good, food was excellent as well. I would come back again.

Excellent place. We were in town for four nights and truly enjoyed our experience. Very pet friendly with a dog park attached to the hotel, where our puppies spent most of the day. We'll definitely return.

Love this hotel. The room is comfy. The location is great and the service is impeccable.

We found this hotel to be a little dark & gloomy & old for our taste. And the prices are very expensive, as they are everywhere in Soho. That said, the staff is excellent and friendly and accommodating.

Nice. Staff welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Room a bit small, but it is NYC

Great location in soho with great dining and shopping options. Also a lobby bar.

The hotel location is exactly where you want to be downtown. The staff were very polite, smiling and helpful. The room was clean and the cleaning service did a great job tidying up every day. I had breakfast at the lobby and the food was good and well-priced. My room was high up and quiet. I was very happy from the experience.

Very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly. Dog park next door. West Broadway dining is very diverse and good. The lounges were very comfortable with the big chairs and couch.

Loved the soho location. Near a lot of great shops and restaurants. Just be prepared for an extremely small room. Good for sleeping and not much else

The food menu was Excellent! I was very happy to find creative healthy menu!

Had a wonderful night stay at the Soho Grand. We both commented on how clean the room was. We did have an issue with the electrical in he first room, but we're quickly reaccommodated by the friendly staff. Both rooms were comfortable and well decorated. Very industrial chic decor, but well maintained. Would stay here again.

Staff were nice but the hotel is old and dark. Bathroom was very cold and water was luke-warm.

We had great fun in New York and this hotel is perfect.

Coming off the busy NYC street at rush hour, the Soho grande is a great way to start any weekend. Helpful staff, and a quick check-in, note: If you can ask for a higher floor, on the side away from the tunnel traffic. Though I was on the side with the tunnel, and you could hear the rush hour traffic because I was high enough it wasn't bad. Clean linens, comfy bed, room is small but furniture organized to maximize the space. Great full length mirror and plenty of lighting I was able to get ready fast and just a quick walk thru Soho to the West village to meet friends. Just a slight delay at check out the next morning, but the staff was polite and apologized. Hard to beat the great location, right near the canal st a, c,e subway line and near lots of great restaurants/bars.
