My room was pleasant, clean, and comfortable with a perfect location around the corner from Times Square. It didn’t have a ton of extras but was an excellent value for the price. I appreciated the early check in for a modest cost especially bc I was moving from another hotel during a blizzard. Check out Connolly’s Irish Pub next door for great food/drinks/service.

Staff was friendly and responsive to every question or issue. Our heat was not working when we got in, and the maintenance worker immediately fixed it. He was kind, thoughtful, and paid attention to detail. When we requested a new battery for the TV remote control “whenever they got a chance,” it was addressed without hesitation. It’s an old hotel, but it’s grossly underrated.

It is just one block away from Times Square, making it a very convenient choice if you're planning to stay in the heart of Manhattan’s busiest area. Regarding the hotel itself, it offers a classic, no-frills ambiance with a charming vintage and antique feel. The hotel is very clean, and what truly stands out is the staff. During my stay, I interacted with several members of the front desk team, and they were all exceptionally friendly, courteous, and eager to assist in any way they could. We had a wonderful experience here.
