Room was clean. Big enough for 3-4 people. Take note: No central AC/Heat. There was a window air conditioner that was “winterized” with duct tape around it and a radiator. It was cold outside and it was hot in the room. However some cold air leaked through the duct tape. Noisy on the second floor.

There was no temperature control in the room and the radiator was scalding hot to the touch. Also the blinds on the windows were inoperable so couldn’t raise or lower to shut out light. Property is in dire need of updates and the room while clean was very tiny. I would rate this hotel a 4 or 5. Not an 8 as the Expedia reviews suggest.

Although the staff were lovely and location great the hotel itself was tired, worn and dated. We had several issues with our room, the windows not locking and the air con not working to name the main 2 and although I mentioned it to the staff who took notes the window wasn’t fixed until multiple reminders and we ended up doing it ourselves whilst the handyman told us what to do, the other issues never fixed at all. Very disappointing for the price.

The hotel is very dated. The room we had was opposite the elevator so very loud at night with people coming and going (809). The rooms furniture was old and chipped. The rug under the bed was waded up so it caused a tripping hazard. The banister, skirting boards and walls needed a good lick of paint. On a positive note, the location was perfect, close to everything and the few staff members we talked to were nice

Staff was super friendly and the location was perfect. However I have a few complaints. The elevators are TINY. one would only fit maybe 4 people-3 if you also had luggage. There were no USB ports in the room so if you didn’t bring a charging cube you had to go buy one. The shower had body wash and a shampoo/conditioner combo, but it was really just shampoo. The heat was a radiator so there wasn’t a temp controller, you just had to open the nozzle and see if it was enough/too much heat. Overnight there was a constant loud clicking noise (assumed it came from the radiator but we never figured it out). The windows weren’t weather-sealed so there was a draft. No microwave or ice makers - had to go down to the lobby to use either of those. Overall I thought the price of the room considering the location made it worth it, but I do wish I’d known some of the issues before we booked it.
