Quiet location in a great NYC neighborhood away from the hordes of tourists but convenient to everything. Great restaurants nearby, including Ess-a-bagel or Morningstar Cafe for breakfast and the can't miss Nishida Sho Ten for dinner or late night ramen (and sake). The rooftop bar is loud and crowded on weekend nights, but blissful on Sunday afternoon/evening with spectacular 360 degree views. We're former New Yorkers, and a stay here felt like being home.

It wasn’t the same as what we saw on the site. The room was smaller, there was no housekeeping, and the room was covered in marks and scrapes on the walls.

Beautiful old art deco hotel. Concierge/ front desk team all stellar: I really felt like I lived there and appreciated all of them. Room was spacious and clean and had a STUNNING view- I could have sat there all day watching the sun move across the sky. Only surprising thing to know is that housekeeping does not come daily - that's part of the "apartment" experience rather than hotel, but I would of course prefer it to be more regular. Overall though- great stay. No noise (in NYC!), beautiful views, clean, big, and friendly staff. I'll be back.

The kitchenette was a plus. The bathroom was small and didn’t have good ventilation, but that’s a relatively minor complaint.

We always enjoy hearing from our guests and we're so pleased our well-appointed rooms had everything you needed. However, we apologize for any disappointment with the bathrooms. We're glad this was only a small issue, and we invite you to stay with us again the next time you're in town.
