Showers would not drain and we found black mold growing on the bathroom walls. The staff and management were very understanding and helpful, but the conditions of the room were just completely unacceptable for that price and location of an NYC hotel

Location is good. Facilities are old and not in good shape. No buffet in the morning, no decent place to have a coffee. Poorly designed and operated.

40 US per night was added to my bill for a destination fee- i was not made aware of this until i saw the final bill. The hotel was otherwise run down and the elevators were very slow. i hate to feel swindled and that is how i feel.

It was a nice 4 star hotel experience staff was friendly and very helpful

I liked the location being near Grand Central Station. I did not like being charged for the computer service which is normally free at every hotel that I have stayed in. Also, the bathtub had railing that made it difficult to get in and out. I sprained the muscles of my right forearm on my first attempt to get out of the tub. Hopefully, this is only temporary pain that I am experiencing.

Bathroom sink falling apart , housekeeping not derailed oriented at all . Hard to contact front desk when needed. Room service way to expensive for the level of service

Great location. Good amenities. Overpriced restaurant. Bathroom in room was not clean.

I liked the location. Hotel was a bit dated, long check in lines.

Mandatory $25 food purchase. Misleading when pricing. This additional cost is not made obvious when selecting a hotel based on price. Feel cheated out of $25. Feels like I a scam was pulled and would not expect this from a Marriott hotel

It was modern, clean & had great location.............

It is real good and I recommend it ................

The property's location was great - adjacent to grand central station. The room was very attractively decorated - modern décor with high tech lighting, etc.

The hotel itself was very nice. The city view was kind of a joke though. That wasn't an issue. The problem I had was that I asked the hotel MULTIPLE times to get an early check in because I had to quickly get dressed for an event. Went to check in and low and behold no early check in. I was forced to get dressed for the event in the conference centers bathroom and pay to check my bags to go to the event even though I had asked months in advance to get an early check in. Just disappointing when you try to make everything work and the hotel wouldnt allow it to work.

I'm a Hyatt member and this hotel is a huge disappointment. VEry expensive, rooms are very small, not coffeemaker, pillows were flat and hard as a rock, furniture in bad condition... We arrive to our room and there was plates and wine glasses outside our door from previous guests, that remained there for our entire stay. Staff not very friendly. Not complementary coffee, not even WATER! I will never stay here again! Very disappointing considering that I had great experiences with other Hyatt hotels... this one is not worthy!

It is conveniently adjacent to Grand Central Terminal, and an easy walk to Times Square , the U N, Fifth Avenue, and good restaurants.

It just so happened to be near our event and very convenient for other interests that we visited in NYC.

Worst hotel experience ever. Teh charge my Amex card multiple times leaving me with no use of the same in NY. The hotel is non smoking but we has smoke in the room on 4 nights, confirmed by housekeeping. I spent 2 hours at the front desk trying to sort out my Amex card and extensive time on the phone with Amex.
