Wish the room had a fridge!! Rooms were a bit cramped for a family of 4 but that is to be expected in New York. Safe area lots of restaurants within walking distance and small stores. Not too far of a walk to Times Square.

It is not really a convenient location since it is far both from time squares and bus station.

The room was the typical size for a New York hotel in the middle of a block. Location was great for us as there was a bakery on the one corner and Chipotle on the other, breakfast and lunch right there. The only complaint about the room is there is very little water pressure and no hot water. The staff was great, very polite and helpful.

I have been there for one night. The hotel is perfect to rest in NY! Clean and confortable.

I loved this hotel. Th price is excellent for the locale. The location is extremely (within walking distance) to all the Manhattan. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful, nice, and accommodating. The place is crowded for sure (the elevators could be enhanced by designating one of them for upper half of the floors, the other one for the lower half), but conversations I had while traveling on them (with staff and fellow guests) were out of this world. I will DEFINITELY stay there again (I am in NYC often). I have discovered this little jem of a hotel recently and will not let it go!

Easy walk to most of mid-town Manhattan, actually quiet, but rooms are small.

last minute reservation. Clean, comfortable, and great location. Bath room is small.

Unfortuately this stay was to attend a funeral. The staff was thoughtly, kind and considerate.

Good price at such a location in Manhattan. Hotel is clean and convenient. Very good stay.

the rooms are very small, there is no minibar in rooms but location is perfect

we had booked for 3 people this was clearly not big enough. very small bathrooms!!

Needed a room to stay last minute and this served that purpose great. Free wifi a great bonus.

The front desk service was always pleasant and accomodating. The location is great because it's close access to alot of places.

Desk staff was great. Rooms are very small, but comfortable.

Great staff great food great stay. I was very pleased with the staff but you will stare at another building with no curtains that cause privacy.

When I arrived at the Holiday Inn - Chelsea, I was taken slightly aback. The lobby was a mess. The staff, however, informed me that they were in the midst of renovating but that it would be done by the following day. I was skeptical but it was! On top of that, I heard no noise from their efforts downstairs. I stayed in a room with two double beds and was very happy with it. As soon as you walked in, it just smelled clean. It's so rare to encounter that anymore. Every staff member that I encountered was extremely nice, saying hello and asking me my plans for the day. This was a great value with the location being only 4 short blocks from Penn Station -- easy transport everywhere. It was also a short walk to Times Square. All in all, loved it!

Staying at rhe holiday inn -Chelsea was good. It was close to my venue, the staff were very polite and helpful. I thought. It would atleast been toothbrushes in my room for me nd my companion. But that wasnt a huge deal.

We made reservations for a king; got a double bed. sometimes that can happen - understandable. the person checking us in told us - "sorry but you made the reservation through XXXX, and that does not guearantee you will get the advertised room". we requested to speak to the manager. she told us to wait till the following morning, We left our number. he never followed up. room was small. we could smell what the people next door were eating; not quiet at all. overall experience - horribly DISMAL

Bed comfortable, room is clean, flat screen tv, little on the small side but not bad, good pillows

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was very good. Easy access to transportation.
